1st class usps

hey guys i ordered my valcano on saturday. its currently tuesday and i was just wondering how long it would take with the first class shipping to get from hawaii to illinois. if anybody knows please reply

5-7 business days, But I am in Michigan and whether I order first class or priority, I usually get it in 4 business days.

depends on the day really, sometime USPS will scan items other times they don't. Which I actually talked to my delivery guy and he says its more not that workers and facilities are not scaning the packages it is the uploading to the customer database that is not being done. They have two systems, one that they can only see and one that we the customers can see and use. The one USPS workers can see like if you called them and actually can talk to someone they can usually see all the scans even though yours just says "left HI sort facility"

So yeah sometimes mine show the steps and other times it wont update after it leaves HI. Shoot I have had some that were delivered months ago and never said delivered. And I have have some that say it was just delivered on XX/XX/XX day even though I have had the item and been using it for days.

Actually, the scans you can see and the scans USPS can see are the same...they use 2 different programs to access the info, but the info is the exact same.

Scanning is mandated by the districts/plants & it varies, although the USPS has initiated a new scanning procedure which should be nation-wide. They also are changing the "delivery confirmation" to tracking, where prior to this last push all that was required legally was the delivery confirmation to be scanned only on delivery.

Good to know AB I will keep that in mind for small orders so that I can save some money since you and I are only a stone throw away.

Ha really? Where are they close by? I hear about them from time to time from my mom, is there a spot on here for them I looked but didn't really see anything. I would love to see the stuff they say about the product, I am kinda a geek myself

The new lab they are moving into right now is in Grand Rapids. They are always looking for help and volunteers to bring the new lab on line. Plus they do Zomb events all the time there.
