That is awesome! I agree with AB and would rather just put several holes in it, but I have done this yet, but now am inspired to try it!

A Big Thanks to kaneohe247 and artist boy! I now have the best of both worlds.
What I done was take a mega clearo carefully drill several holes from just above the threaded base to just below the coil base. Insert clearo into the bottom tube tank fitting, becarefull cause you will have to put some pressure to get it all the way. Now put tank back on and slide top fitting on, it will take some pressure too. Now fill like a clearo, put your tip on and VAPE THE WORLD.
Love this trick so far 2 hours running no leaks and loads of vape!

Thanks to kaneohe247 for posting this info! I just got through modding my tube tank on my 30 minute lunch. I did it the same way kaneohe247 did where I cut the plastic from a mega clearomizer and used the 2 pieces as shown in the pics... Works freaking awesome!!! I will be trying the other method of drilling holes in the clearo when I get home. Anyway, thanks again kaneohe247 for starting this thread!

Finally got home and tried this mod using a complete clearo that I poked holes in........ Much more stable and still works freaking awesome!!! I stopped babying the first one I made and it had an epic fail and lost 3mls of juice on my lap.... Good learning experience. Really pleased that I now have a 4ml clearo as I prefer the flavor.. Something about the poly fill makes the juice taste kind of wrong to me. Anyway, thanks again for the ideas!

Sorry to hear about your accident.
I've never had any problems with mine, It's always been a bit more stable/durable than a regular Mega Clearomizer. But those you still need to be careful with.
The only stuff I've felt was really durable is the steel Mega Cartomizers and the Syringe mods based on them.
Glad to hear AB's version is working better for you.

It works great for me. Clearos will be all I work with. I just drilled one small hole at the base. It draws fine, tastes great and vapes like crazy. Ill be trying the larger tank next.

Update:
Well I've purchased one of the newer 4ml. Tube tanks, the one with the notched bottom.
There is a difference between the tube used for this and the first one I purchased.
While they look exactly the same, they are not.
The newer tube has a slightly larger inner diameter(?) than my older one.
My older one's black top and bottom caps sealed really tightly in the tube. The newer ones caps are lose in comparison and easily pop out or slide out of the tube. I tried the caps from my older tube and it's the same thing, which leads me to believe the tube is larger inside.
Additionally, the inner diameter of the caps for the newer tube are also larger or the o-ring is smaller. Since a plastic clearomizer tube can slide inside it without too much effort. My old tube caps wouldn't allow this, they were too tight.
So this leads me to think that might be why PhishLover had his mod fail.
I don't know if this is a quality control issue or if my first tube is different from most others or if they changed the specs or something. But with my newer tube I'll probably use AB's suggestion ( and deadaim's example ) and drill out large holes in a Clearomizer tube to use, unless I get another tube with narrower inner dimensions.
~ I had to buy another TT because my first one frosted on the inside when I cleaned it with very hot water! It's practically opaque.
