Another new vaper with questions

Sorry if this is in the wrong area, I made my best guess to where it should go.

A little back story: I have smoked since I was 13. I am now 37 and on my third (at least) attempt at quitting. I took my last drag of an analog (getting the lingo down) on Sunday night and have been smoke free since. I did this ass backwards because I just made up my mind to quit and didn't even decide to go with e-cigs until Monday (my quit date) and made an ala carte purchase for the magma Monday night.

I am waiting for it to get here (hurry up tomorrow!!) and have been pouring through all the posts on the forum, but I still have a few questions.

1. How many times can you refill the carts? I purchased pre-filled carts along with blank carts so in all I think I will have 15 carts total.

2. Since I did manage do do this sort of backwards, I have been smoke free since Monday, however, I did purchase both the pre-filled carts and the e-juice at 16 mg. Will I be overdoing it 16 mg? I am chewing the nic gum to tide me over but that is 2 mg I believe. (I smoked marb menthol full flavor at about 10 per day before I quit) My plan is to slowly go off of nicotine. I just didn't want to pick up yet another pack of cigs while waiting for the magma to arrive after already making the commitment to quit analog.

3. How often do you clean and/or replace the blue foam? I would mainly (for now) be vaping just one flavor so how often should the foam be cleaned? Should the cart and foam be cleaned after each time it is emptied? I plan to mod my carts using the BF.

the carts are reusable untill you brake them or chew threw them.

The 16mg might be a little high for you at where you are at but not by much and as long as you take it easy on it you should be fine.

The only time I wash the blue foam is when I change flavors other than that I never do. I replace it about once a week with a new piece which is pretty much when it starts to lose its springiness. At than point it wont work as well.

Or melt them.. lol. I've done that a bunch of times by keeping a manual battery in my pocket. Anyway.. you'll end up with tons and tons of carts later on, if they aren't physically destroyed keep em for refills later. Also.. order some of the Magma blanks when you get a chance, they are super sweet.. come with snap on caps so you can fill a few and toss em in your pocket with no leakage.

I did order some magma blank carts but I don't think they are the ones with caps. I saw that Volcano had carts with caps but maybe the magma ones are out of stock?

I will be making additional purchases for sure so I will keep my eye out!

all blanks come with caps so if you ordered blanks you will gets caps to go with them. We sell the caps separate as well for those who have carts from the prefilled ones and want to reuse them and cap them.

well I did order the M-cart blanks so BONUS that they have caps!!! That is really good news, I was trying to decide how to cap them!

You won't find nicer products out there for E-Cigs than you find here at Volcano. The blanks are extremely nice and if you order a 10-pack you can get them for less than $2 a box of 5. Only thing that would make them nicer would be blue foam but you'll have to do that yourself. I use the stock filler for the first couple of fills then pitch it and replace with blue foam.

I did do a lot of research even though I purchased the magma on the same day - it actually says a lot considering I can't pull the trigger on any big purchase!
