If you are having a problem with your Volcano or Magma battery(ies), like one of the batteries in your kit is dead when you get it, the battery isn't holding a charge, it exploded, ect.
You know... Problems.
Post them here.
This will keep all the battery problems in one section, so it is easier to help you guys. Having 5 threads about the same thing will make the forum cluttered and difficult to find information, or receive assistance.
Try to keep this thread on topic, I will prune out needless posts to keep it as streamlined as possible.
And I do not care if you post repeated questions in this thread. I don't expect everyone to read through a billion posts to see if there is another person with the problem already resolved.
If you post a technical issue outside of this thread, it will be moved to this thread unless it warrants it's own individual thread.

Question for the Volcano guys.....
I have a battery that is completely dead. What is the normal lifespan of the batteries? When I put it into a charger (USB or the Vpack) the top LED does not blink. The charging light goes on, but the battery remains dead. It does not even blink when activated on an atty. The battery is 7 wks old tops.

I had that happen within a couple days on one of my first batteries...My friend that ordered, got one that wouldn't charge from the get-go...I know like anything there have got to be some duds...I told her to ask for replacement...
I did, they credited my rewards enough to replace the bad battery and an atty that had chunks missing...
I would be curious to know how long...how many charge cycles they "should" go through...my guess is about 300 charges...what say you?

ok so one of the batteries that I got isnt really holding much of a charge... Its been giving me a false charge a lot and seems to only last about 20 min... sometimes it works longer but its a rarity... Any ideas?

Sometimes you will get a false charge on the batteries. Think of it like an air bubble when refilling a cart. On the top it looks full, but its not! Take the battery out of the charger and unplug the charger (if you are using the USB one), replug in the charger and replug in the battery. It should start charging.

Did it... But one battery of mine just doesn't do anything to any of the atomizers I use (i have 6 that I use alternately). The LED just doesn't turn on any more.
Another battery works somewhat... But I have to drag like hell to get a little bit of decent vapor. And the LED takes a second or so to light up.
Luckily, I have two more that work beautifully. Is the warranty still in effect? I actually feel kind of bad about even asking. But I've really taken good care of these things & I don't know why they would have just crapped out on me.

Hi -
I started using my kit 2 weeks ago which was the last day I smoked a NEWPORT! This is great however I am experiencing issues with one of my batteries. First, one of the batteries would hold a charge for less time than the other. As time progressed, this time went lower and lower and lower.
Now today my wife called and said that she was charging the battery to a full charge and she couldn't even vape it, not even once. I unhooked it from the USB charger and tried Charging in the V-Pack to with no luck. I am guessing the battery is toast but not sure if there as any way to revive it?
Also on a side note...how long do others find a fully charged battery will last? The good one (my working one) will last me 3-4 sessions of vaping before blinking out on me. This would equal roughly 10-15 minutes of use.

I get about an hour of non-stop vaping from my batteries.
The one that isn't holding a charge anymore sounds like it's toasted.
Give us an email cs@volcanoecigs.com
Tell them about the battery, and tell them I asked you to email about it to get you a replacement.

Just got my kit the batteries were both green when I tried to charge them although both leds were blinking when I opened the package. When I take them both off the charger and try to use them one cuts out almost instantly and the other one cuts out after about 2 seconds. Is this normal? Am I doing something wrong? Please help

If you can, charge them with the USB Charger plugged into the Wall adapter.
Sometimes computers can not provide enough power to charge the batteries if you have a lot of devices connected.
If you're still having problems getting the batteries to charge, give us a call at 1(800)870-3357 and we'll be happy to help you.
