His LED color is orange, and mine is red. They're distinctly different. Which is the normal color?
Right now, both.
We've recently changed our LED color to red. He may have gotten an "older" battery as we ship out the last supply of them we have.
They work the same, we just thought the red LED looked cooler, which is why all our batteries now use the red LED.

Is it normal for only a portion of the battery tip to light up? Both my batteries do not fully light up, just a small portion of it..
Thanks
Thanks

I've never cracked open one of my volcano batteries before, but on my 901 the end cap that covers the LEDs came off and I noticed that the LEDs are very very very very tiny.
They honestly can't be larger than a millimeter.
I assume the Volcano batteries are the same, so it might not light up the entire plastic cover on the tip.
I have a few that don't look like they light up all the way myself, but they still work perfectly fine.
If it bothers you to much, you can always give us a call and we can set up an exchange, and you can see if the new one fully lights up.

Well the batteries do have an auto cut off, and I've never been able to nail down a specific time for it. Each battery seems different. I have some that are 11seconds, and others that are 7-8 seconds. And then I have one that never ever ever hits the cut off. I can draw on it for as long as I can and it never hits the auto cut off.
Haha, these things have minds of their own, I swear.
If you'd like a battery with a red LED, you can always pick up an extra battery from us.
The pass through is scheduled to be up on in the store this week as I am told, so keep your eyes peeled!

What i mean is I can not even take a hit yet and the first puff i take it starts to blink right away on a fully charge batt. like once ever other day about it will do this when i go to take a puff it will blink ill wait 15 sec then it will be fine but it shouldnt be doing this when i just go to hit it. And i cant wait to get the pass also i will get a extra batt but they should have told me i would have waited the 2 days to get it with the red light ' )

I'm still Jonesin' waiting on my Volcano to come (not complaining at all since its on its way lol) but thinking about orange to red lights...ever think about having a slew of colors to choose from? Blue, pink, purple (for us prissy gals with big dogs lol)? That would be neat.

We have more LED options coming soon.
I promise it's sooner than you think.
