5 blinks?

Just now when I went to screw my 650 onto the wall charger the light blinked 5 times, the charger light flashed red for a second and then went out.
Is my battery dead? What do 5 blinks mean?

the 5 blinks means it started the charge.

As for why the light went out.... charger could have died.

What is the charger plugged into? There might have been too much of a draw tot he USB port and it shut down. Have you tried it in another port?

Yep. It's a problem in the cord to my "Super Battery Charging Adapter". If I wiggle it just right and then hold it very, very still the red light comes on and everything works as expected.
I'm glad it's not the battery itself...
