Just tried it and it works great. One question though.. do you still get the foam taste a little on your first few uses? I've rinsed it out real good and dried it but still getting some of that foam flavor.

I've never tasted the foam..at all..be sure you put plenty of juice in there, no bubbles...shouldn't be a problem...

It's pretty bad actually. And after going through my first cartridge of blue foam, I went back to a stock cartridge and can still taste it. Maybe I didn't rinse it out good enough but I soaked the thing and dried it out.

EDIT: Actually it's awful and I can't get the taste out of my mouth even switching to a stock cart. Should I be washing the foam with something besides just rinsing it out?

I dont wash off any of mine when fabricating a new filler out of the BF.

If you are getting a burning taste then, the foam is too dry and burning. (I have burnt my share) ;)

It's not the burnt taste.. it happens on the first vape of a filled cartridge. It tastes just like the foam smells.

I'm no expert by any means but I have found that when I get that taste it is from a dry atty. I will "prime" my atty with a wee bit of juice before adding the new cart. And yes, I have modded ALL my carts with BF.

Hmmmmm.....does the foam itself have that smell? (like the full sheet or sleeve of it)

If so, then I would say boil it off, then cut your pieces. See if that changes anything.
