Can't believe this

Ok so I've gotten my first 2 shipments fine with the same address but this time it was forwarded elsewhere? Whats wrong here. Also I'm dissatisfied that whenever I call the phone number given I'm always given right to the machine.

I can understand why you're upset. It's frustrating to wait. I've had the post office "accidentally" send thing the wrong place also. They still made it to me. Unfortunately, it's usually the USPS that's making the mistake. I know that the CS hours are a little different because they are on HI time and that people often have the leave a message and get the call back...from what I know, they are very good about returning calls so long as there is a number in the message. Hang in there!

I would say blame the mail. I ordered two things from K-mart last week on the same day. They were shipped in two seperate boxes on the same day. One was delivered on Tuesday. I am still waiting for the other one! Please realize that they were both mailed from the same state I live in. So, please don't blame Volcano - they ship quickly and are usually very good with customer service.

The USPS tracking system was never actually designed to 'track' anything enroute. It was designed from the ground up to be a delivery confirmation system. Meaning it was only supposed to be accurate in that it could tell you when a item had been delivered.
Unlike UPS and Fedex, who designed their systems to tell them where every single piece they handle is at any point in time.
USPS tracking is, to but it kindly, buggy as hell.
For example, on every single order I've ever placed with Tasty Vapor, USPS reports my package available for pickup at the post office in Los Angeles within 24 hours of the package being received by them.
First time this happened, it freaked me out, I called Tasty Vapor to find out why they sent my stuff to LA instead of to my address. That's how I found out that not only was it a glitch in the USPS system, it happened to a very large percentage of their customers.
In short, till you have it in your hands, USPS tracking is pretty much useless, if not downright wrong!
