Canadian Partner

I see Volcano doesn't have a base in Canada. Are you looking for a Canadian partner to warehouse and distibute sales throughout Canada? This product needs exposure in Canada, I don't know anyone who knows about it, If your looking for a serious partner let me know. I could look into getting your product into major chains up here, corner stores, bars, etc... Can you email me some price points of what you would be wholesaleing large orders for and what your suggested retail prices would be. Are you looking for investors? Send any business info to:
dreamproperties@live.ca
Let me know, I love the product and packaging.

The disposables are nice to get poeple interested, but it's the real units, the culture etc... thats needs exposure. I think I could sell 100 inferno units just to people I know, not mind to smoke shops, corner stores etc... but I'm not really about being a reseller like that, I'm more interested in partnership/investment. I sent them an email a few days back we'll see if I get a reply. If they are taking investments or looking to partner, I'd like to know what the company is evaluated at, yearly sales, and what percentage would be offered for how much. Then I'd be very interested in building the business in canada (radio, news, tv interviews, large orders), ensuring Volcano stays ahead of the game and dominant in the e-cig market in many countries. Let's get everyone to switch!

I thought Canada had implemented an e-cig ban - glad to hear that's not the case.

No Heath Canada is strongly advising against the use of ecigs, and doing everything they can to block shipments over the border.

I believe it is still the case, but I don't see it being able to hold. The Canadian governent said this about ecigs in 2009, It may have changed a bit by now.

Which can basically be sumed up by quoting them:
"Although these electronic smoking products may be marketed as a safer alternative to conventional tobacco products and, in some cases, as an aid to quitting smoking, electronic smoking products may pose risks such as nicotine poisoning and addiction,"
Well ofcourse smokers are already addicted to the act of smoking and nicoteen, but nicotine poisoning from an e-cig is rediculous, I can't see doctors research leading them to back the ban. It is equivalent to a nicoteen patch, the ban will eventually lift if it has not softened already, canadians are liberals for the most part, gays are free to marry, weed is illegal but everyone smokes it and nobody cares, the ban simply can't last here on sucking water.
What needs to be done is getting the word out so people are not ignorant about the technology and how it works, like I said no one knows about it up here, if there was a larger network of open supporters, doctors, and activists this ban wouldn't have a chance.

The canadian ban is pretty murky, it's difficult to find a recent document stating the exact laws concerning e-cigs. As far as I can tell, they advise against smokeing ecigs, but don't ban them entirely.

It is really irelevant anyways the "ban" whatever that is simply won't last I woundn't be concerned about it at all and I would still start planning and executing your taking over the canadian market.
