Chrome Tube Tank won't fire up

Postby robberry » Fri Feb 03, 2012 9:32 pm

Filled the tank and primed it, just as I did with the black one I already own, but this one won't fire. The battery works with the old one and clearo's, but when the new TT is on it, it gets no power, and the Inferno battery indicator light doesn't go on. When I take the TT off, the light will goes on when the button is pressed.

Bad connectivity with the cartomizer that came with it? Is that covered by the warranty?

if the light does not come on it might be a dead carto...

if you received it in the last 72 hours then yeah, it is covered.

A quick question about the 4ml and 7ml tube tank can the 7ml tube tank be used on the inferno batteries as well?

yes either size can be used, now i know they were switching the 7ml tank to a 3.0ohm carto so if you get one of those it may seem kind of flat compared to a 1.5ohm dcc carto

yes it can, it is just bigger around than the battery and might look a little funny. The 7ml also comes stock with a 3.0ohm SCC in it because it is used more on the LT and the SCC is better for the full range of use of the LT

SMOK cartos are notorious for the center conductor being in too far to make contact to the plate on a 510 connectors. AB I believe you have the link for the non or poorly firing atty thread. I got in two SMOK replacement cartos over the weekend and both were the same way.. wiggle out the center conductor and they work fine. Otherwise they wouldn't fire.

the reason i ask is I do alot of driving with my job roughly about 35,000 miles a year and i want something that won't leak or have to be filled up everyday. love my inferno with drip kit have the tankos but they tend to leak when the tank gets old .
