JAZZIE WROTE:
Don't buy into these "techy" guys that will have you disassembling the whole case or microchips ( ) to accomplish this...it really is very easy and quick...

Aw come on now, leave us tech guys alone. LOL. All i really did was pull the foam and remove a screw. I did mine in 5 min. The reason I did mine this way was because I have some non MAGMA manual's and they have a high profile button. And when I had just made a notch in the top, the button was still hitting and catching when I turn it.

Probably wont have that problem with the Magma's though. It looked like their button was low profile. Still waiting on the store so i can get a couple. ;)

Actually my two non Magma's I shaved down. But just shaving them and not modding the pack in anyway wont work. The Magma manual's are pretty low pro buttons and they wont fit with out a notch.

You could probably shave the button flush with the bat, but haven't tried that and don't know how hard it would be to use it then or any issues doing that.

Excuse me, but I said there is two ways to do it, not 'take apart the pack'.
I explained how to take the pack apart because you asked

I have one of the inner parts for the Magma Pack sitting on my desk as I just haven't gotten around to putting it back together, lol.

i wouldn't figure it would be all that pleasant on long drags.

I realize this was posted almost a year ago, but I just used the info to mod my M-pack for manual batt. Thank you very much - it was very helpful!

I also do this every once in a while to just clean the contact threads in the pack. I looked down in my pack and its pretty dirty.
