Counterfeit AW Refund [RESOLVED]

Postby mycarsifarst » Thu Feb 09, 2012 6:00 am

So I sent my batteries back after a quick correspondence with SR - Thanks for that Shadow. They arrived in HI on Jan. 26th, and it has now been exactly two weeks with no word back. No email, no comments in my ticket (although I know that the RMA will not reply to my ticket), and most importantly, NO REFUND. I don't know what is going on, but I would really like my money back. It shouldn't be taking this long, bottom line.

Counterfeit AW Refund

Have you sent a message on your ticket you opened?

I am not sure they are doing a refund or an exchange.

if I were you, I would open another ticket to inquire about the refund. I know transfers of money back to a card can take a few weeks.

I can't find the exact quote, but I do recall someone stating the reason they were suggesting points over a refund was that while they have control over points being given and can service you quickly that way, they have no control over the credit card companies and have seen refunds take upwards of a month to process.

that is correct Thrall.

Mycars,

as for why you have not heard anything.... IDK, I would suggest opening a new ticket asking these questions and we will be able to forward it tot he people that handle the RMA's and everything and they will be able to give you better dates and times of when what happens and let you know what is going on in the matter.

I went ahead and opened another ticket with references to my old ticket. I know CC refunds take a little while, but I straight-up haven't heard anything, not an email saying "we got your package" or "we're starting your refund". I don't want points because I want to spend my money on some juice from elsewhere, and I already spent some money on AW's from elsewhere. I'm just frustrated, simple as that.

My personal experience with the ticketing system is that the email part stinks. Have you checked the RMA on the site itself? Generally speaking the few times I've had to RMA something I only got the initial email, any other updates I had to log into my store account and look under the help desk tab. Very annoying, but honestly, a minor inconvenience, compared to other vendors who don't even have that option. Case in point, I just checked my RMA for an inferno batt that died. They did place a reply in there that as far as I know never hit my email. But the info was there for me to look up anytime I decided to log in and check.

I am sure CS and RMA will get it figured out to day and let you know what is going on with it. Sometimes our responses seem to get lost in cyberspace. I believe RMA was using their own email account to send out responses for a while instead of the ticket system. the email might have been lost of blocked by your email client too. Not sure, but I am sure they will get you informed on everything in a it here.

Cars,

I am looking into this for you. Thank you for sending me another ticket. Once it goes to RMA I no longer see them and the RMA department is a no response department. Because of the other RMA's you have done with us and discussions we have had in the past I did not include the
"If you have any further questions or concerns please feel free to contact us by opening a new ticket, this ticket will be transferred to a no response department"
statement. I assumed you knew this and I should not have done that, I also assumed that if you had any concerns or questions you would know how to contact me.

I have this being checked on and I will personally contact you as soon as they get back to me.

Kind of along this same line, I sent my battery back on the 11th for replacement. No word. Are they shipping them out yet?
