I do too, I can't do metal DTs... All I taste is metal!

Delrin is the perfect material for DTs IMO, doesn't effect taste, and doesn't get hot!

I dont have that problem but my friend did. I told him to stop chewing on them and the metal taste went away. I also soaked and cleaned mine really well before i used it. just in case. I know alot of manufacturing processes with metal leave bits of powdered metal on the items. So i just got in the habit. but don't chew on them that will help too

Strange...I have the opposite problem. I can always taste the pastic, but not the metal. LOL But, it's all good. If I soak the delrin drip tips in hot water then immediately put them in a cold water soak, I no longer taste plastic. But, yea...I never taste the metal in any of the metal type drip tips...at least the ones I have bought from Volcano...

Can't say I have seen that at all in these. I have seen some black residue in the Metal ones. It is usually a dust from the buffing of the DT.

But the Acrylics and Delrins I cant say I have other than a couple I have seen a few pieces of the shavings from when they turned them.
