I've been searching the market for a new Ecig and think i've finally decided on the Volcano Inferno. Previously I've been buying Finiti and Blu disposables and haven't smoked a real cig since trying the disposables. As you can imagine though buying one every day gets expensive to say the least. 70 dollars a week!
Anyhow i've watched countless review videos and have been lurking on these forums, reading everything I can. I think I have most the information I need but their are still a few questions I couldn't already find an answer to. I hope you guys can help me out.
1. What does an atomizer do for the Inferno? I plan on ordering the drip and tank kit combination but have seen people talk about low res atty's,ect. I still can't understand what this does for the inferno or how it enhances it.
2. What exactly does the tank tube do and is their an instructional video on how to use this with the inferno?
3. What extra accessories should I buy with my purchase? I know it's suggested to buy at least one extra tankomizer but should I order another battery as well?
Thanks in advance, Mr.Pitt

The atomizer is what actual vaporizes the liquid... there are different types of atomizers...
On your disposables you probably used cartomizers... which have an atomizer element built into the cartridge...
With a plain atomizer... you drip drops of liquid directly onto the heating element (no cart or cartridge is used)... 2 to 3 drops of liquid at a time... this method of vaping provides the best flavor.
The LR atomizers burn hotter and vaporizes "more" juice than a standard resistance atomizer.
The tube tanks are basically a "feeder" system for cartomizers... they allow you to vape for "longer" between refills
The tube tanks, IMHO, provide the best compromise between flavor and convenience.

Ok let me get this straight. With a tankomizer you basicly replace the atty with the tanko.

atomizers, tankomizers, clearomizers, cartomizers...... and so on, all are generalized as attys. they all do the same thing but in different ways. They all take the power sent from the battery, and vaporize the e-juice.
Attys are heating elements, enclosed in a housing. and e-juice is delivered to the coil (heating element) in different ways depending on the form of atty you are talking about.
LR- Low Resistance. is an atty that has a shorter coil or a coil with less turns in it. It makes it have less resistance for the power to flow through it, allowing it to burn hotter.
The Tube tank is just another form of an atty, once filled you screw it on the battery and draw on it just like you would with any other form of atty.

Right. The tankomizer is the part that has the atomizer in it. You use tanks to supply juice to the tankomizer. With an atomizer, you need to drip the liquid in and use a drip tip.

Personally I think you could avoid a lot of frustration by going with the Inferno drip kit and purchasing the Tube Tank with some extra 1.5 ohm cartomizers (at least 5). They are very simple to use and work far better than the tankos. If you go with the Tube Tanks be sure to follow instructions, especially when it comes to priming the carto. I know for me and my wife the Tube Tanks were an absolute and literal life saver! I also recently (yesterday) tried the clearomizers for the first time. You may want to add a five pack of them as well. They allow you to have a bunch of flavors available at once without changing a bunch of gear.
Ask lots of questions until you get answers you are comfortable with and you will get the stuff that works best for you.

Ok,if I want the bang for my buck, could someone go through the store and personally list all the things I would need for the best vaping experince.
I thinking as of now
Inferno with drip and tank
extra tank o mizer
extra v juice
Tube tank
What else?
BTW, I working on around a 200 dollar budget

I would skip the tank o mizers all together.
Get an Inferno with the drip kit couple of Tube tanks and maybe 10 of the 1.5 DC Cartos since you have a solid budget. A pack of the mega-clearomizers. A few of the needle tipped bottle caps and spend the rest on juice. You should be set for a while with this! Oh yeah and if you are concerned with aesthetics you might want to get a tube sock.

I'd have to agree w/Yogi...
It was just a year ago that the tankos were the latest and greatest... BUT... now they are old tech... and in my experience tend to mute flavors... there are a few fans of them around... and I'm sure they'll throw in their .02... but most of us have "moved on".
The tube tanks are a much better bang for your buck AND provide a much better vaping experience... easy to use... a breeze to clean (just toss the old carto and insert a new one)... provide good vapor and taste... and make vaping as easy as pulling an analog out of a pack
My suggestion for $200...
2 - 4ml tube tanks (~$40)
2 - Inferno USB batts (~$40)
5 - Tube Tank replacement cartos (~$15)
1 - Lavatube Kit ($99)
1 - additional 18650 battery ($14)
You can charge the Inferno USB batteries w/a std mini USB cable and you'll have the Infernos for "out & about" vaping... but you'll also have the Lava Tube (which is the latest greatest) for exploring all the options
