Express starter kit

Postby Forkeh » Wed Jan 25, 2012 1:33 pm

I just received mine in the mail about 10 minutes ago. I got the tobacco full flavors. The product seems to work really well. Even burns my throat a bit like a real cig. The tobacco flavor is definitely off. Not what a cig tastes like. In fact they don't taste like much of anything at all. My taste buds are probably burnt out though lol. However, in the interest of my heath, that's something I can certainly deal with; I wasn't expecting it to taste the same anyway :problem: . I also ordered a pack of Kona Coffee cartos. Haven't had the chance to use them yet. I am excited for the flavor. I did notice, however, that some of the cartos paper is pealing. I hope this isn't indicative of quality; I do know with products coated in paper, that can happen. We'll see.

Overall I am very satisfied with my purchase, and especially the shipping time. I picked the Fedex two day. And after the product shipped on Monday, here it was, exactly two days later. Almost exactly to the hour. Thanks Volcano. It's nice to see a reputable company out there, for a fringe interest product

Just tried the Kona Coffee. It's absolutely fabulous!!!!!!! Way better than the tobacco flavor. Like seriously, of all the ecigs I've tasted (I've tried a few crappy disposables), it's absolutely my favorite!

the cartos are made of metal and wrapped in stickers more or less. the stickers can sometimes start to peel if they got wet from the juice inside during shipment. also... when the carto heats up while you're vaping it, it will wear down the adhesive. the stickers don't affect functionality at all... so you don't have to worry about it.

That's what I figured, I wasn't overly concerned about it. I just try to be detailed when writing a review. Detailed reviews are more helpful for those who are considering buying.

Congrats on making the switch to e-cigs and Volcano. It is a very young industry and things aren't always perfect for sure. As far as going with a reputable company Volcano is definitely the one. Like I say though, the industry is very young. At least with Volcano you know they will back up their products. The products seem to get better and better month by month. This is also the place to come for great advice and to learn what you need to in order to vape with less frustration and more joy.

I haven't tried the Kona Coffee but I have tried the Hawaiian Espresso, Yum! you may want to give it a whirl. Blue Water Punch is a favorite as well. Oh and Choconilla haze is bliss.

Good luck to you and happy vaping!

UPDATE: The express chargers seem to be really low quality. Not that the e-cig itself is of poor quality, just the charger. If you're gonna get one of these, maybe get an extra Lol.

the one I got with my express kit, I have beaten the heck out of and it is still doing fine. I have broke my share of chargers and this one is hold up just fine compared to all the others. I have broken Magma USB chargers in less than a day of having them, had this since the day they came out and it is still working fine and not broken.... maybe there was a bad batch or something.

Not according to customer service, which denied my claim. Maybe they've changed the design since you got yours idk. All I know is that my initial opinion was that it looked like flimsy plastic junk and the screw in interface seamed a tad wiggly. Didn't concern me at the time, but it broke 4 days later. Granted it was my fault the thing got caught on my blanket, but honestly the force applied was no more than reasonable handling. I didn't catch it and yank, it was more like *shifted computer, little tug where the charger dragged on it a bit, "oh crap."*

And yeah I'm pissed off about it, but don't get my wrong, I'm still going to be a customer. The rest of my kit seemed to be of exceptional quality. It's just one of those things I suppose.
