Sorry to hear about the problems. USPS usually misroutes all my packages. It always happens at the Allen Park,MI facility. Without exception. There's either a drug addict, drunk, dyslexic working there or a faulty machine. Or quite possibly a baboon who has learned that I ALWAYS have fun packages and takes delight in hastily swiping them for his/her own enjoyment, no doubt picturing me shaking my cane and cursing the shipping god(s).
I once paid fedex 45.00 to deliver court paperwork, time sensitive to be sure, to another state. For whatever reason, they neglected to run the charge on my debit card until 7 days later. My papers arrived at their dest 5 days later, and guess how much money was on the debit card on that 7th day.....
BIG FAT GOOSE EGG!!
If they failed to deliver a packge, which was gauranteed to be there overnight, why should they get paid the full amount. I explained I would be happy to pay the 5 bux usps would have charged me for a 5 day delivery and not a penny more but they wouldn't go for it. To this day I still have that on my credit report. And i refuse to pay the full amount. It cost me considerably more for a failure of paperwork to arrive in a timely fashion so poop on them.
Anyway, misery loves company and that's my penny's worth. Can't afford the two cents what with the recession and all. lol

Hey bill.... thats crazy man! I would be furious with them!!!
But you should have gotten your money back...... they refunded my shipping costs to volcano (even though I wont get any money because free shipping was included with the order), but I dont care, its the principal of my situation, you know what I mean?
They have a guarantee.... your order will arrive in the ammount of time specified on your delivery date, or they will refund you your shipping costs. This is voided of course if the delay is due to weather, global events, holidays, weekends, and so on, and so on...
I would BE SURE to call their 1800 and ask to speak with a claims specialist or manager, no way in hell you can let them get away with this one! If they still refuse tell them they are in breach of contract and you will be contacting an attorney regarding your bad credit... they will almost 100% of the time refund you your money. No one wants to hire expensive attorneys, or pay court costs over a small amount of money.
****EDIT****
When you call the 1800 number, provide them with this link...

It says so right on their website, if they miss the delivery deadline by even 60 seconds, you are entitled to a 100% money refund on all shipping costs. hope this helps!
GOOD LUCK!!!

Actually, there are many things that can cause tardiness... so if you don't get it on the day in which they specify then certainly entitled to a refund, but not by 60 seconds or even if you get it that same day. Also keep in mind this is calculated through business day and even thought they move shipments on Saturday and Sundays, these days are not included
