Volcano (and others) do not claim, or cannot claim, I think for legal reasons, that e-cigs are a smoking cessation device. Instead they are thought of as a healthier option to smoking. Which they are!
You are right though in that they will never taste like an analog, and if one keeps insisting that they have to in order to "quit" it probably will not work for them.
I had to give up on the idea (and open up my closed mind) that the flavor should be equal to cigarettes; and have sought tobacco like flavors such as Tobacco Pure. In the end the lack of "ashtray" taste turns out to be better than analogs!
And if one tries out the other sweet, or fruit, or beverage flavors, or the hundreds of others out there (bacon anyone?) they will find that cigarettes are so limited, as well as unhealthy.
