Finally found a use for my tobacco flavored liquid....
by LateVapeLug » Sun May 29, 2011 12:37 pm
I bought a bottle of bluewater punch and a bottle of tobacco pure with my initial Volcano purchase. We all know who was gonna win that fight.
Less than a week later I purchased a bunch more liquid and my poor little bottle of tobacco was already collecting dust. Today was the first day I have used it since then, and it won't be long until it's gone.
I have several juices that are either a little overpowering with the flavor, or have a slightly soapy undertone. I've found that mixing them with the tobacco fixes both problems. It gives my soapy orange more of an "orange vitamin water" flavor which is much better in comparison (does the same with my soapy raspberry and soapy key lime pie). I also don't get any flavor resembling tobacco at all either, which is nice. This is interesting, because I use 80% tobacco and 20% orange. I guess simply having any flavor at all automatically overpowers the more subtle tobacco.
It also allows me to vape it in tanks, which I was hesitant to do before because the orange is 70% VG. Adding it to the PG tobacco brings the mix up high enough to use in tanks, which is my preferred method.
I'm sure the veterans are well versed in doing this. If you're like me and are fairly new, and have a bottle of tobacco juice that you've given the cold shoulder
, you might give it a shot. Especially if you come across some juices that just don't hit you the right way, the tobacco does a great job of finding a good balance.
I have a few other juices that I can't wait to try this way.

Thats a great idea, I also have several bottles of tobacco collecting dust, I will try mixing them with some of my not-so-great DIY's. Maybe I will come up with some good snake juice.

Ha! The thrill of mixing two bad juices together to get a good one is the first step to diy. It is inevitable now...just a matter of time!
A + B = C is one of my favorite juice games. There is a topic on it somewhere on here.
It is quite a feat to make a bad juice better - Kudos! You can also do it with multiples by starting a "dump" bottle. It's a big bottle where you pour flavors you won't vape together and then eventually it tastes good. I keep one for chocolates/coffees/vanillas/caramels etc., one for fruits, or I used to. I finally got to the point where I stopped buying bad juice.
Now if I want bad juice I just make some!

That's a pretty cool idea. It might be awhile before you end up with something worth vaping regularly, but when that time comes you will have A LOT of it.

LVL, I love that you and I find things out at about the same time. I've been allowing my tobacco tanks to not be completely empty before I fill them up with something else. Tobacco alone is just dull... but it can promote the flavors of other, by removing some of the strength.

Haha yeah it looks like we both started about the same time, I guess each vaper's evolutionary timelines are maybe similar?
It's funny that I wasn't using my tobacco juice at all, and now I will be buying it regularly just for this purpose (at least until I get sick of trying new juices, which will most likely be never.). It really can make a bad juice much better!

I never actually vape tobacco by itself. I almost always mix it with a fruity flavor or mint/menthol. I used to have the same problem with my tobacco juice. I stopped using it completely and had no use for it. I finally revisited it by mixing it with mango. After those amazing results, my tobacco was quickly diminished.
I have never tried combining it with a chocolate/coffee/darker juice but I just might have to! I still have a couple partly used tobacco bottles so I think it is time to experiment!

I'm like Mary, I have 2 glass vials with eye droppers that I call my junk jars. If I have a couple milliliters of juice I don't like, it goes in a junk jar. Then I forget about it. I tried one of my junk jars not too long ago and it tasted like BWP! I don't know how a bunch of different juices I didn't like equaled up to BWP, but it made my day because it was all 24mg+ juice I put in and I had about 20ml of it! Oh happy day! I've been shocked a few times by mixing two juices I don't like when it comes out vapable. Yech + Ewww = Yum sometimes, I don't know how or why. Glad your tobacco juice isn't collecting dust anymore. It makes me sad when juice is neglected. lol

I am opposite from youse guys (and most others!) I love good Tobaccos, and have searched high and low
(Highs are Volcano Tobacco and Tobacco Pure, and Dekangs marlboro mix. Lows I need not mention) for perfection, so I have a "Junk" bottle that has all the ookey tobacco flavors I did not like individually poured into it and collectively it's damn close to what I want.
Waste no juice!
