Being that their true AW IMR 18650 batteries straight from AW, these will work great. They are identical to the true AW brand I already own. No worries, they will work great for you. I have two of the old generic brands that they originally sold and stopped selling and they actually work fine as well. But, at least with these, you know you are getting the beloved AW brand. Enjoy them and your new LT when you get it!

That reminds me, I need to place my order today!
Side note, why are the true AW batts better? What makes them better than other brands? I am currently getting about 8 hours vaping with the fake AWs, running a 2.5ohm DCC between 4.5v-5.3v, what should I expect for time with the real AW?

Honestly Jeff, I get the exact same functionality/longevity out of the AW brand vs. the generic brand. If I remember right, the AW brand is true IMR which will have the added safety in the batteries chemistry for high amp drains. So, you have double the safety with the battery and the LT's on board circuitry. I believe the generic batteries were not IMR, but just Li ion instead of IMR LiMn. I hope I got that right! LOL I had to work all night. Plus, the AW brand is just a nice added bonus, since it's a trusted brand in the vaping community.
Someone please add or correct me if I'm wrong...but I'm pretty sure that's the gist of it.

The Lavatube is great. I have had mine for quite a while now and it runs like a champ. I have yet to drop it but thats what the cheaper pvs are for. easily replaceable. However its a very sturdy piece of work. For my first variable this was fun to find the sweet spot on what i like to vape at. I suggest if you don't have one and you happen to be reading these ... Get one! I highly recommend it!
