A friendly summer reminder.

Postby Artist Boy » Fri Jul 08, 2011 9:07 am

As we move into the hottest part of the summer, and we all begin to do more and more outside and start spending more time in the car or on the bike, going to the beach and hanging out, and so on.

I would like to offer a friendly reminder to everyone to help save you and your gear some stress and money. Juice does not like to sit in the heat or in the direct sun light. That is not only in the bottle but in your carts, cartos, tanks and any other thing you use to vape with. So please remember to not leave your bottle of juice or even your PV in the car, the heat, or the sun.

This is also for if you order juice. Please keep an eye on the tracking number. The day it arrives try to get it as soon as you can, sitting in the mail box for hours in the high day sun and heat. Can and will speed up the oxidation of the juice, making your juice darker. Along with that it can break down the flavorings in the juice making them taste...not so good.

Just thought I would make this little public service announcement. Since in the past I have left a 30ml bottle of juice in my car before. and have left an order of over 100 dollars of juice in my mail box for 3 days in the middle of August. I figure I could help prevent some of the newer vapers that don't know this yet as well as remind some of the more experienced vapers.

My rule of thumb is if it is too hot for a kid or pet to be in then it is too hot for my vaping gear. Keep you, your family, your pets and your vaping gear all safe and cool this summer. Have a safe one out there my fellow Volcanites.

Good call...always try to think of this when I'm out and about in the heat...

its getting hotter out there everyday. Just bumping the thread to help you prevent an untimely death of a good bottle of juice, or some prefilled cartos/clearos/tanks.

Please dont leave your vaping gear in the car.

To hijack this thread from AB, and as a PSA, drink a lot of water. Juice isn't the only thing that will quickly expire in the heat.

I was buying a new ac over the weekend, and I left my car (and my V-Pack) in the loading zone to put the unit in it. It tasted horrible after just sitting in the car for 5-10 minutes. Lesson learned.
