My handmade Inferno Pouch

I saw Phydeau's lanyard and wanted to make one for myself because I am constantly wishing I had a way to wear it around my neck. I don't often wear shirts with pockets and I'd be worried it would slip out when I lean over and couldn't bear to lose my baby. I LOVE my Inferno.
So, since I don't have any of Phydeau's materials laying around I started thinking what I could do. Then it hit me... I'm Native American, so I have alot of deer, elk, and steer hide lying around. I make my own pouches and such, and figured this would be a great way to make something for my Inferno.
I quickly knocked this out in an hour so I could have a prototype. This way I could use it and figure out the best way to re-design it and make it better. When I make a better one I'll post a pic here.
This one is made of Elk and sinew. I always use sinew, stronger than any thread. I also added the brass beads and brass cones for some decoration. Gave it a hole in front for the button so it doesn't fire by accident. It fits fairly tight so once it is in place it doesn't move too much.
If anyone wanted to they could go to a dollar store and pick up a shamois and knock on out pretty quick. In fact, you probably wouldn't even need a leather punch, a good sturdy craft needle should punch right through.
I'll work on putting together some instructions and explain the whip stitch so you could make one yourself, if you wanted. The whole point of this is that with a little thinking and creativity you could find a way to make it with little or no money invested.
Someone, I'm not sure who or where I saw it, used a cigar tube and some thin foam to hold his Inferno. Just a little creativity is all that's needed!

That is a good idea! Here is a pic of my homemade pouch. I looked all over for something like these.
There were some but kind of expensive. I made mine out of a pouch bought at a smoke shop. Total
cost around $6.00. I was using eyeglass holders from wally world that was $1.50. I'am sure there is
alot of these people have made, I would like to see them also. There is money to be made on these
Volcano. You should look into offering something like these so we can keep our babies safe and sound.

Very nice!
Mine's an old MiniMag sheath with a bootlace strung through the beltloop - not worth posting a pic of, but hey, at least it works...

I use the mini mag light pouch as well, but I keep it on my belt.
