A post I saw on another forum suggested putting a strip of tape over the air holes, and then punching through the holes one at a time until a) the battery still activates, and b)provides for a comfortable pull.

i just got a couple of batteries in the mail and they were pretty much already broken in, but im still working on breaking in the batteries that came in the mail with the magma kit...once i think theyre broken in they keep on requiring me to block the holes more :evil:

That O ring is a GREAT idea. I've been using tiny rubber bands, but that looks like a perfect fit. Thanks!
