I'm not sure of how good an idea that is, or how practical.
no? like an "otter shell" for the inferno

seems very practical for those of us that are a bit less...sure-gripped (lol)...as the rest. the current finish is awesome, don't get me wrong...but i've ALREADY put a small chip in my tankomizer finish.

I feel like a rubber coating or a grip would end up holding the battery's heat which could reduce its life. same reason putting "wraps" on batts isn't recommended.

that's my main worry, hence not practical. i can see how some may like it though.

The rubber coated ones are definitely out there -- I tried a friend's auto Ego w/the rubber coating and fell in love with it
But I'd still really like to have a British Racing Green Inferno

Maybe you could make them available by special order? That way Volcano doesn't have to buy stock they're not sure will sell, but the option is still there?

I agree with the rubber coating or at the very least some type of sleeve to put it in. It gets cold holding it sometimes in the winter
