seems very practical for those of us that are a bit less...sure-gripped (lol)...as the rest. the current finish is awesome, don't get me wrong...but i've ALREADY put a small chip in my tankomizer finish.

I feel like a rubber coating or a grip would end up holding the battery's heat which could reduce its life. same reason putting "wraps" on batts isn't recommended.

that's my main worry, hence not practical. i can see how some may like it though.

The rubber coated ones are definitely out there -- I tried a friend's auto Ego w/the rubber coating and fell in love with it :thumbup: But I'd still really like to have a British Racing Green Inferno :thumbup:

Maybe you could make them available by special order? That way Volcano doesn't have to buy stock they're not sure will sell, but the option is still there?

I agree with the rubber coating or at the very least some type of sleeve to put it in. It gets cold holding it sometimes in the winter
