Inferno Tank Mod For Better Air Flow

Postby kylereu » Thu Mar 24, 2011 9:11 am

Okay I can not take full credit for this mod, geekdgirl  was the one who told me to remove the o-ring, I came up with where to put the o-ring so you don't lose it.

I have seen a couple of people asking this question in the last few days since I learned about how to do it so I wanted to post up on here what to do. The problem: Not getting good draw/air flow through the tanks.
The Solution: Remove the O-Ring on the inferno with the tank-o-mizer so that it allows for a less restricted draw.

How not to lose the o-ring once removed (because you need it for the cones) Un-screw the flame etched silver end cap, push the o-ring over the threads on the end of the inferno battery and put cap back on just snug. Here are pictures below.

Here is the inferno unmoded

Take off the Tank-o-mizer

Remove 0-ring

Place 0-ring over threads on end of inferno as shown

Put cap back on just snug as shown below and happy vaping!

Thank you! I have said it a couple times on here now in the last couple days but I wanted to make its own thread as well show pictures so if how I explained it was confusing (because I do that alot) then the pictures would show what I meant better.

Here's another quick, simple trick to improve the draw:
On the tank itself, remove the 2 baffles (outer and inner) in the mouthpiece with an unbent paperclip.

Ah yes I forgot to mention that one, thanks mad dr! I do that to all of mine. If you look close you can see mine are removed. One point though to add to that... dont put it in a sandy pocket though lol.

I just reshaped the mouthpiece with the rounded end of a Drip Tip, then reversed it and crammed it in - Fixerman came up with that idea.
Here's a pic of what it looks like on my chrome tanko setup:
