The Tube Sock (shorty cone) works just like the cone on your Inferno this is just a shorter version of it for use with your Tube Tanks. These are held on the same as the Inferno cone is, with the o-ring. If you have removed the o-ring to use the Inferno tankomizer on your batteries you will need to replace the o-ring back on to the battery before using these.

i would guess that you could, but i worry about the lanyard pushing up on the sock and the sock pushing the tank off the carto.

these will only be in Chrome. Just remember the button ring is chrome as well so it is just gonna extend that chrome up a bit on other color batts.

Will it work with the lanyard now.... I would say yea. this is just like the cones but shorter. I too would be cautious about the lanyard popping everything up, But the DT would stop it from going all the way off, plus that would be one heck of a jerk to make it all come apart at once, if you are doing a lot of stuff I would check it often or place it in a shirt pocket, but just sitting around and using the lanyard to not lose my Inferno in the couch it should work great.
