When you look at the price of a pcak of cigs compared to the new toys you can pick up you still save money

Yeah, I think it has just begun. I just ordered a pair of manual batteries and a couple of attys, along with an assortment of juices. But $50 worth of e-juice should last considerably longer than a $60+ carton of smokes. :)

Hi Everyone,

I'm Trea and I'm from Shirley, New York. I'm a 2 pack a day smoker so I ordered the Magma Kit yesterday. From reading in the forums it seemed like heavy smokers should go with Magma. I can't wait to get it. I've wanted to quit smoking along time now but nothing has worked. I've tried patches, pills, hypnotism and aromatherapy. Nothing worked for more than a few weeks.

At this point smoking is costing me $13.50 a day. That's way too much. Even though I'm replacing one habit for another this one seems much cheaper once I'm set up. I can't afford to smoke anymore. That money could be going to better things. Like saving for a vacation or just going out with my husband once in a while.

I'm a stay at home mom with 2 children, who also takes care of my mother-in-law with Alzheimer's. Playing 200 questions all day every day can get on your nerves if you don't have something to help break the stress. I don't smoke in the house. So another upside is that I can do this in the house.

I can't wait for my kit to get here. My order says completed so I'm hoping it get shipped Monday. Since I used 2 day Fedex I hope to have it by Wednesday or Thursday.

Welcome Trea. I started with a magma too. Never went back to analogs after that. NY cigs prices were just insane.

Yeah, you'll start off buying a bunch of things, and realize half your initial purchases were...frivolous. No worries though, after a month or 2 of not smoking you'll definitely break even, then be saving, so there is no point in worrying.

Hey Trea,

Welcome to the forum. I'm sure you're going to enjoy the magma and all the benefits (far beyond just the saving money). You can peruse here and answer some of the questions you're bound to have. If you read up before your kit gets there, it'll help make the transition even easier. This is probably the best place to start:

Welcome to the Crew Trea!!! :D

You made a great choice with Volcano and the Magma......this will change your life!!!!
No more smoke smell, going outside to enjoy, poisoning yourself with the thousands of other chemicals, ashtrays everywhere, lost lighters, etc... :D :P :D

As Geekers said, check out the threads and enjoy. There is a learning curve to vaping, but, is quite easily mastered.

You didn't say if you smoked lights or full flavor analogs....or what you included in your order. There is a reason for this comment:
In the beginning you will go through more juice/carts (they are NOT empty and they can be refilled, so, keep them!!!). You may need to order a higher nic than what you envisioned....no problem....this will just help to ensure you stay away from analogs while you transitioin to vaping, then you can go to lower nic.

The biggest and most important thing I can say is....don't give up!!
It may be a bit fustrating in the beginning but we too have been there and are here to help. ;) :P

Thanks Everyone for the Welcome and the advice.

I only ordered the Magma kit nothing extra with it. I smoke lights but I did order some full flavor as well as the lights because of reading I did in the forum before purchasing the Magma. I already have a wish list ready for my next purchase. The problem is I can't make that purchase for two weeks. My husband only gets paid every other week.

I have some caps, three atomizers, extra batteries and some liquid on my wish list and I am also thinking about ordering extra M Pack but I haven't made up my mind about that yet. I am going to get the BF this week and I already watched Evil Ernie's video on using the BF. Having 2 kids I already have the syringe from when they needed medication.

I can't wait till my kit gets here to get started. I need to give up the analogs for good. I have a thyroid condition and my doc is threatening to pull it out if I don't quit soon. I will also be very happy to stop all of this coughing.

Thanks Again,

Trea
