Longest You Ever Waited For Shipping

Now I understand this is by no means Volcano's fault. They shipped my order within 24 hours of checkout.
However, I placed an order on July 25, shipped the 26th and still havent recieved it on August 2. How long do you think I should wait before I inquire at USPS what is going on?
BTW, the items are shipping to New York.

I would be writing...are there any updates at all with the tracking numbers? For me, it's always been 3 days after the processing in HI....I think one shipment was late because it said delivered but wasn't because someone's dog was outside and the mailman didn't drop off mail that day.

Your item was processed through and left our HONOLULU, HI 96820 facility on July 26, 2010. The item is currently in transit to the destination. Information, if available, is updated periodically throughout the day. Please check again later.
That is all the info I have.
I guess I just learned my lesson that FedEx will be my ONLY shipping option from this point forward.
I am placing another order with 2 day FedEx to cover the stuff in this one. I'll live but it is frustrating.

Honestly, the updates pretty much suck but I haven't had too many probs with USPS (knock on wood). Try contacting them if you don't get an update by like 10 tomorrow..that's what I would do.

Well the package wasnt lost. I recieved it today.
But WAIT, where do I begin. First of all I ordered the following items:
1 USB passthrough.
1 Tobacco liquid
1 Pineapple Punch liquid
1 Cherry Lava Juice
2 atomizers
2 Volcano batteries with Blue LED
2 Volcano Blank Cartridges
Here is what I actually recieved.
1/2 of the passthrough. Got the manual part with the button but no USB power cord. Got a crushed box I think it was supposed to be in though.
Got the juices OK. Same with the carts.
Was missing one battery and one atomizer.
The parts and pieces that I did get where in a cellophane bag that read:
United States Postal Service
We Care
Dear Postal Customer,
We sincerely regret the damage to your mail during handling by the Postal Service. We hope this incident did not inconvenience you. We realize that your mail is important to you and that you have every right to have it delivered in good condition.
Although every effort is made to prevent the damage to the mail, occasionally this will occur because of the great volume handled and the rapid processing methods which must be employed to assure the most expeditious distribution possible.
We hope you understand. We assure you that we are constantly striving to improve our processing methods in order that even a rare occurrence be eliminated.
Please accept our apologies.
Sincerely,
Your PostMaster
WTF? No mention of missing items. Of damaged items in the packaging? Not even a contact number to get this resolved.
Needless to say I contact Volcano and they resolved the problem for me. But like I said before, consider this the last time I use USPS. I will pay extra not to have them handling my property.

I think I would have to break out the Nerf Bat of DOOM on someone
Seriously.... WOW!
Yeah, $7.99 freight sucks to get it FedEx'ed, but I've never had a situation like that with FedEx or UPS...
I just wait until I have a big order to justify it and the wife doesn't yell at me
Volcano'll take care of ya's though, and it looks like you've got enough to get started at least. Just don't yell at your computer while the battery's charging... It doesn't work... And your family think you've finally snapped. Experience talking!

More than happy with Volcano's customer service on this one. Top notch and that is all I have to say about that.
I usually have enough stuff laying around to last me until WWIII so the package wasnt as important as the principle.
You expect shit to not be missing out of the package and a little more than a damn bag explaining their mistakes.
Oh well, it happens.
When I get around to ordering that Magma, you can bet FedEx is getting the business.
