M/V-Pack question..about charging
by lorim » Sat Apr 24, 2010 10:21 am
Does anybody know for sure if you don't unscrew the battery when it's done charging will it drain the pack? The old pack charges would go dead if you didn't unscrew the batteries, not sure if the new ones will too.
Thanks

all the pack are smart pack, meaning that they will not drain the batteries once they are done charging, they are designed not shut off when full. They all have been smart packs since like Oct. 2009

Whahoo, I'm extremely forgetful, this makes me feel way better! I could have swore I read some where (when the other style packs were only available, pre-Magma) that if you left the battery plugged in it would drain the pack.
Thanks again

it was probably in a really old post. Volcano did start out with ones that would drain but quickly took care of that problem.
