NO PEROXIDE, it will ruin them!

Crest-Pro-Health care is the preferred mouth wash cleaning liquid, it has something in it that really does an awesome job, I see funky clear floaties (probably e-juice) and black specks in the liquid when I soak them in a tiny Tupperware bowl that I gently jiggled, if you over shake the paint begins to chip. Any alcohol, upwards of 90 proof is almost as good as the crest and I've even used rubbing alcohol. About an hour seems to work good. Just be sure to soak in about 2 cups of boiled water no matter what method you use, this seems to disenpate the minty mouthwash and I wouldn't want to vape left over rubbing alcohol either.

Be aware, they are hard to get primed after a good bath, you need to keep dripping and vaping...oh its a really yucky taste for about 5-10 puffs, you will think you killed the atty. But once it gets rolling again, your back to plumes of smoke!

I also use the Crest ProHealth to soak and shake my attys, I sometimes, but not always, use my mini ultrasonic cleaner as well. Then a steamy hot water bath, then a steamy hot water rinse under the faucet (with sink stopper in place), then I blow it out and sit it out to dry overnight. Before using I blow it out again just in case some water is stuck inside. (surprisingly sometimes there is an extra drop or two). I prime it with a few drops, mount in onto freshly filled carts, and vape on... :D :D :D

I usually clean mine as needed, when vape production drops off, any funky residue appears, or if I have a liquid in there I just don't like....

Have many attys, unused and in storage, but am still using my original 2 Magma (over 2 months) and 3 Volcano (since January) attys.. So I must be doing something fairly right. :D

You're right, it will seem like the atty is dead at first, at least until it gets primed and going good. I picked up one I had drying over night yesterday after work. I was too lazy to go grab some PG to prime it, so I just put on a cartridge I had with me (freshly filled one) and let it sit for about 15 minutes. After that it only took about 10 or so good puffs to get it going. After the first five puffs or so I let the atty cool a bit, 5 more and it was good to go. Producing tons of vapor now. ;)

I will have to try the crest mouthwash sometime, I'm about out of 91% alcohol and keep forgetting to pick more up lol. I would not however use the 70% stuff unless the bottle can tell you that the other 30% is distilled water. Who knows what they put in that stuff lol.

I also found that taking the atty apart at night, blowing them out, from the thread end and then leaving them upside-down on a paper towel all night does wonders for performance. I have some really thick juice that I love, if I don't flip them they seem to get clogged really fast and don't vape for crap.

I have attys for my favorite flavors - 4 just for my magma favorites, any way I fill one cap for each and put one in the pack completely assembled upside down, the other two I fill the tips, cap them and put them in the slots, one front & one back, then I take the attys for those two and put little balls of paper towels in the bottom of the pack slots and put the attys in thread side up next to their dedicated tip flavor. Oh and the 4th one is hanging out of my mouth!...does that make sense?, just thought I'd share my pack habit ;) !
