so much for USPS express mail

I paid for USPS express mail so I could get some new equipment in time to replace my current attys. Well it should of been delivered on the 31st. They even gave a "Guaranteed Delivery Date/Time: January 31, 2011, 3:00 PM" lol. Its the first and the tracker doesn't even show the package has come into town yet. Just that it left Hawaii. At this point my atty is dead. Thanks USPS, 18 bucks down the tubes.

I would contact them given it was a "guaranteed delivery date/time"!

I'd also hit my local post office and ask how you get a refund. Won't make them happy but who cares. With the way USPS handles their Priority and FC mail, I'd never ever pay for their next day shipping. Heck even Priority mail is a ripoff most of the time. I ordered 4 things last week from different vendors all over the US. One was priority, three were FC mail. It all showed up on the same day 4 days after being shipped. Thankfully the Priority update was a freebie from that paticular vendor.

Well I just called twice and got the same answer. USPS claims it hasn't been mailed yet. This is all they see

Somehow it was processed and then they got a shipping notice after it was processed??

They said the package is mostly likely still in hawaii... when I asked about a refund the call was dropped. That happened both times. Do I need volcano customer service to step in?

I called back again, they told me the package MUST of been lost and I need to file a claim, they gave me the number for my local claims office....the local claims office isn't answering the phone and gives a message stating to call the 800 number I just came from..........F**K!!

I'm thinking of making another order and going through fed ex. If it is lost I'm out the 70 or so dollars I spent in the first place.

I made another order... . I picked the fed ex express. Total came out to 96 dollars.. I hope the tank-o-mizer is worth all this...

Yeah - sometimes it's worth it to just add on another DT, box of tanks, etc... to get over $100 for the free shipping.
