Ode to usps.

The following is based on a true story.

Your tracking is always hours behind,
you're so terrible it just blows my mind.
I was so excited when i saw it display
my package was out for delivery today!
The hopes I had on the sidewalk lay dashed
when all that my mailbox contained was some trash.
I called up the helpline and the tinny voice said
"We can't help you, call the sender instead."
I thought to myself "This cannot be right!"
and so I pressed zero with all of my might.
Not once, or twice but ten times or more
my goal to dismiss the computerized bore.
Finally a human, but to my dismay,
she told me that it was delivered today!
"It was signed for by Wang, at quarter past three"
I told her "Listen here, that man wasn't me!"
A ticket was opened and now I must wait
for the postal gods to end this debate.
Words can't describe my hatred for you
but after today I must say that we're through.
Fedex my love, my new Cinderella,
and Volcano, I still love all you fellas.

Great poem, but making me regret choosing USPS instead of Fedex for my recent Inferno purchase...I am so excited about this upgrade and took a gamble with the USPS...what was I thinking?!

I just have to say one thing.. FedEx rocks! Just wish they were a little cheaper. But... if they were, their service would suffer and we'd hate them just as much as USPS or UPS.

Just wanted to mention that they somehow magically undelivered the package overnight, and it was waiting in my mailbox today. I don't know if this would have happened had I not complained to them, but either way I got my stuff.

Also worth noting, the package had been opened, and re-sealed with tape which says "we're sorry that your package was damaged during processing". Luckily, everything I ordered was present and accounted for.
