Hello, I am new here.

I placed an order on Friday evening and chose the FedEx 2 day option since it said I qualified for free shipment. However, I did not realize until after the order was placed that I have a PO Box and was unaware FedEx did not ship to PO Boxes. Realizing the mistake, I immediately emailed customer service and put in a ticket on the order and received an automated reply back.

I then received an email today stating the order was shipped and to check my account here. Sure enough it says order shipped via FedEx. I checked the tracking link and it has a clearly marked "FedEx does not ship to PO Box Addresses! - FedEx 2Day" message there, but still shows products as "shipped".

Now I am wondering what is going to happen to my order? Shouldn't the shipping department at Volcano know that FedEx doesn't ship to PO Boxes and not ship it? Why would they go ahead and send it FedEx to a PO Box?

Is my order going to be completely lost or delayed weeks while it gets sent to a PO Box and then all the way back to Hawaii. Sigh....

I did that once. Although it still said FedEx, they changed the shipping to USPS, only took an extra day or two.

Thanks for the reply.

Yes, I did just receive another email msg from Shadow Realm stating she notified the shipping department so hopefully it wont get shipped FedEx.

I hope you are right and they change it for me so I dont sit around weeks wondering where my order is. I suppose I will also call them on Monday when they are open to make sure they switch carriers.

Shadow is awesome.. She can handle about anything.. If they are open today.. With the Holiday and all I'll bet she gets it taken care of .. I wouldn't Stress if Shadow is on it:) Peace

Well just an update. Looks like via the tracking my order has already made it all the way to Memphis, TN via FedEx.

What I don't understand is how the Volcano shipping department didn't stop the order when it clearly states on it that Fed Ex doesn't ship to PO Boxes. They should know this shouldn't they?

What is more boggling is how FedEX can pick up the package and have it go thru 3 centers and not stop it either since it has a PO Box address on it.

Don't know what it going to happen when they try to deliver it to a PO Box. I will keep my fingers crossed and hope they just deliver it anyways, but I am not counting on it.

Wonder what is going to happen to it?

You should be fine, but I have my fingers crossed for you aswell. The last order I accidently made like that, they changed it right before it left the shipping department, so IDK.

Well good news I hope!

I went to the forum chat room and some kind people helped me out named Nitrojuga and of course Shadow Rhelm. They advised me to contact FedEx which I did and they put a hold on my order at the local facility and I can go pick up my order there when it arrives!

Just wanted to thank the community here for the help and support they gave me. Its rare to find a company with a community like this I think.

I will update once again after I have my shipment in hand.

Good to hear you got taken care of.

The customer service is one of the main reasons I stick with Volcano. There was a period of like 3 weeks that I didn't even vape because I couldn't find a flavor I liked, but now that I did I'm happy :)

The good thing about Volcano is not only does the company offer customer service, the consumers do too!

I made the same mistake once. What happened is that FedEx called me on the day of delivery to find out where they could deliver it to. (I don't think they have a pick-up office in this area). Sure enough, they delivered to my door.

Just an update. Got the order okay. Fed Ex held it at local office and I went to pick it up. Thanks to everyone that helped me and to Fed Ex's excellent tracking and customer service as well.

BTW LOVE THE INFERNOS!!!!
