I just want to make sure I am having a problem with my USB Passthrough http://www.volcanoecigs.com/usb-passthrough.html .
I press the button, it fizzles for just under a second, then it does nothing for about 4-6seconds, and if I press the button again after about 5 seconds it will fizzle again for about a second. It acts like it has a 1 second cut off.
Used on USB 2.0, with magma tank-o-mizer. Am I doing something wrong?
so, if you press the button and hold it down the light on the button only stays activated for about a second before it turns off on its own? do you have any other atomizers/tankomizers you could test the batt with just to make sure it's not a problem within the specific magma tankomizer you are using?
my USB infernos have a cut-off of about 25 seconds. not that I can hit that... I just activated it to see.
if the batt is cutting off after only one second with all attys you have, that definitely sounds like an issue that should be rectified by submitting a ticket through the Customer Service link in your account. be sure to include the order number that you received the batt through as well as verify your shipping address to expedite the process.

Could be a short in the cable, usually near either the plug or the end where the cable enters the body of the PT. It should be still covered under the warranty. Just contact CS.

I believe I have another piece of equipment from Volcano that is malfunctioning. I happily plugged my USB passthrough into the charger that I got with my full kit a few weeks ago and it's dead. Yeah...I know how to push a button so lets not go there. At least the case that came with the kit ACTED like it wanted to work. Going to go through a few posts on the Vpack chager and see what I find. I'm not a happy camper and will go elsewhere if this continues. I have put a call in...after hours of course so I'm hoping I get a call tomorrow and an RMA for both since the RMA in PDF form sent to me via email wouldn't open because the file was damaged. I have been raving for a few months about Volcano and how wonderful it is (was) and now I'm not so sure.

She will be emailing you a new RMA pdf from shadowrhelm@volcanoecigs.com
Sorry once again about that.

...Ok...
I have plugged it into the USB wall charger that came with my full kit and held the button down for well over 3 seconds with no vapor when puffing long after the 3 seconds is up with a cartomizer and very little vapor using the new atomizer I bought and a cartridge that vapes beautifully with a battery. I repeat, the atomizer with a cartridge that vapes BEAUTIFULLY with a volcano battery barely has any vapor aft holding the button down on the passthrough for well over 3 seconds. I know the outlet I have the USB wall charger is working because I plug the USB charger into it and put a battery in it and it charger the batteries just fine.
If this is not how the passthrough is supposed to be use, please inform me of the proper equipment to get the SAME amount of vapor from the passthrough as I would get with my batteries.
Thank you

could be a plate issue between the atty/carto and the pass through.
