really 2 day shipping?

Postby Taliwolf » Mon Jul 25, 2011 12:20 pm

This is not the first time I've had this issue so I'm getting frustrated with it. Ive been explained the weekend no shipping and what not for FeEx services.

My issue is my package sits a very short distance from my house for one and as much as 3 days (2 day shipping) flagged not due for delivery. So my 2 day shipping takes just as long as having stuff shipped USPS at twice the cost. If its not going to be 2 day shipping why is it offered as such?

Being charged for 2 day shipping and more than once not getting it in that time.. deliberately on the part of FeEX ..feels dishonest and like I'm being ripped off. With such practices why does Volcano still offer FeEx's poor service when Volcano is such an outstanding company? It reflects poorly on them.

I always get my packages in 2 days from Fedex. One thing to keep in mind is that weekends do not count and the day you order is not counted either. i.e. If it ships on Wednesday, 2 day shipping would be delivered on Friday.

I have always got my Fedex delivery in 2 to 3 days tops. Just curious as to what state the shipment is going?

I am sorry to hear that your local fed ex office seems to like your hold on to your packages. This is in no way anything to do with Volcano.
As for why we choose to continue to deal with them? Well 98% of the time they are super, they get things there fast and don't damage the packages at all. Unlike the USPS, they ..well, ummm... don't.That leaves us with few options. UPS and DHL that will charge us an arm and a leg for 2 day shipping or any type of shipping at all.

Fed Ex is a great shipping company. I am sorry that Fed Ex has failed you. Have you filed complaints with them about the holding for days? If they are holding for it longer than weekends and holidays with no reason, then you should file a complaint with your local office or you can file one online or by phone on a more corporate level.

TJS

One time the shipment was going to North Dakota and this time the shipment was going to Arizona.

I understand the weekend/Holiday thing my issue is with FeEx sitting on my package after it get within a few miles of my house.

You are right AB it is a FeEx issue NOT Volcano is an awesome company and it has never failed me. The CS has always gone above and beyond to help me if...big if.. there was a problem.

I placed a order for 2 eliquids about a week ago on the 20th Wed. of last week and used the 2day shipping method and have not yet received my order. Well and as you can see today is Tues.the 26th now and still no package. Ive never have had this problem with volcano, Ive placed numerous orders and have not had this problem. I called FedEx, and well they said the package had arrived on Mon. morning but for some reason they didnt want to deliver the package that day but instead they were going to the next following day for some stupid reason. Whats going on???

Once again this is not an issue with Volcano it is on Fed Ex's end. To get answers you will have to talk to them and ask them. If your tracking shows things left us on time then it is then in the carriers hand to fulfill the delivery. If they fail to under the terms then they should refund the delivery cost. But htis is something to be talk to Fed Ex about.

I'm experiencing the same issue. I ordered on 7/21 and still nothing. FedEx shows it's still waiting to be picked up from Volcano, I sent an email to Customer Service two days ago..still no response. Though my credit card has been charged successfully and already posted to my bank..

Capers,
I hope that FedEx can get you an aswer along with a solution to the problem. I am sure that the 1.800.GoFedEx 1.800.463.3339 Phone system is of little use and you have tried it. But hey persisitance can sometime help. Dakota' should not be 2 to 3 day I would expect.
Good Luck in the future.
