Just had a thought...

Volcano needs to create a flyer, pamphlet, press kit, etc. on their products available for wholesale for smoke shops and allow all of their customers to list the local vendors for cigarettes. That would give the company an incredible mass of retail outlets to send materials to.. maybe a free sample.. or one of those pamphlets, catalogs, etc. I'd be happy to grab my local phone book and list at least three dedicated smoke shops, and over a dozen convenience stores that sell cigarettes within 10 miles of my house. If even one of those retailers pick up the products I'd be happy, and Volcano's wholesale business would explode.

It would also end up increasing the support for e-cigarettes exponentially over time as new people try them.

I agree. Theres a very good chance I can get Volcano into all of the smoke shops in my area as I know the owners on a close personal basis. I have personally installed the surveillance systems in just about every one of them. One of the biggest things we have going for us is that both of us have based our retail locations in Malls. I originally learned about e-cigarettes in Popular Science and later discovered there was a girl selling Smoking Everywhere just outside my store at a Kiosk. Smoking Everywhere is overpriced crap, but she sold probably fifty kits a day. Since I run a string of Computer Stores I too would be interested in selling Volcano products. My customers are the scores of gamers who smoke like chimneys and love technology more than the average Joe. The manual passthrough would be a smash hit at my locations. I have been searching for a long time before stumbling on Volcano, these are products I can sell. Some retail signage and demo items can make a big difference. I have already seen some of their Youtube Videos (would look great on a large TV at retail location, by the way) which is a step in the right direction. I have also seen the live feeds which would be instrumental in getting other lounges/coffee shops on board. I wish I had seen those feeds when they banned smoking at the coffee shop in our mall (was the only place I could go to smoke inside), we fought it tooth and nail. The smoke shop is directly across from that shop. Business suffered at both locations as a result. If I had more than a card to go on I could make these products a standard in North East Pennsylvania.

My 2 cents. I went into our local smoke shop the other day, after not being in there for a while. We started to roll our own, and even that was too expensive. We also never found a flavor we actually liked. Anyway, I just wanted to pop in and see the people that work there and this big bulldog that I adore. I had a Blu PCC (didnt know of Volcano at the time...) and asked if they had any ecigs we could try out. The guy laughed at me. He said "we're a tobacco shop". We went back and forth for a while, and all I really took away from it is: 1) that guys is a dick and 2) tobacco shops are intimidated by anything "new age". He just kept saying how the tech isnt "there yet", and how unreliable they are, or how costly they are. Clearly he is misinformed. Sure, I have a few reliability issues... I also have lost lighters, or burned holes in things Id rather not... I told him I am well on my way to save well over 2000$ this year, and he scoffed again. This went on for about 8 minutes, then wifey and I stomped out of there never to return again.

That is just my Midwest-small-town-America view. I think a lot of other retailers will feel the same way. I know word of mouth is working. I have only had ecigs for just about 2 months; and I am soley responsible for 3 new vapers. I think the price, functionality, and availability are all stigmas that will soon disappear. The rising cost of analogs and lack of places to smoke them in, will only help to strengthen the cause.

I have had a e-cig a few days, I wanted to try one to c if it could make a nice gift... I smoke every now and then, and I'm considering getting my e-fluid nicotine free in future. Anyway the cheapest ones are around $15 (USD) in DX netshop...
Mine has quite mild taste, a bit of sweetness in it... For a smoker who want's to reduce the dangers of his/her habit, e-sig seems like a good option.

Yes the E-cig i a good alternative, a very good alternative given not only the health benefits but the financial ones as well. With the cost of a pack of smokes averaging about six bucks, I've saved 42 dollars in the last two weeks, by eight weeks I will have broken even on m purchase of the two kits I have purchased, and this is not including what my mother will save as she was the recipient of the Volcano kit I bought.

If the product got more exposure in smoke shops, then there would be in place a choice, easily seen, with a quality product to choose over the old analogs. The closest smokeshop to where I live sells smoke anywhere products, and I think that they would benefit from having a better quality product to offer.

I totally agree that we, the customers of Volcano should be out there repping our brand! I actually do already but I bet I could actually get a few stores to carry it if I had something professional looking. I'm already an outside sales rep (advertising) ... which BTW Volcano... you so should do some print advertising!!!!

MY 2cents..

before i found volcano, i sold 3 or 4 BLU kits a day on my last job in GA.

EVERY engineer that came on site, and they came from as far away as CAli to see the job we were doing, paid more attention to my E-cig than they did the Armor job we were doing.

i went through all my sample carts they sent in the first week.

I would LOVE to have some volcano business cards to pass out, instead of ripping out pages of my logbook and scribbling.

As for the local smokeshop, the Haji shop in palatka is selling Njoy ripoffs, and he told me every one he sold cost him a tobbaco customer.. all he sells is preloads, so hes probably losing out to juice sellers.

If you go your Account Page and go the My Referrals link on the left side, you can send a link to people and if they sign up and purchase from Volcano, then you get 25 Volcano points.

The downside is they have to use the link you provide. I haven't yet figured out how they put in the Referral code when signing up/ordering.

we have had reports of it being hit and miss on working. We are looking into why it only works when it wants to and will do our best to get it fixed as soon as possible. But for now I suggest you use the link.
