I use needle nosed pliers to squeeze together the bridge and it usually just lifts out.

Yeah, but from what I understand, you don't use the Magma attys? When I debridged the Magma, I couldn't get the bridge to release without having some small pieces of plastic break off.

Its not plastic it is a ceramic cup, the coil goes through it and the juice collects there from from the wick. if you broke the cup then juice will be allowed to go past that point blocking the air flow hole in the bottom of the atty making the atty draw hard or so stiff it wont work.

Yeah, that is what seems to have happened. The parts that broke off are very small and at the top of the cup, but yes, the draw is more difficult, even though it still works.
So, to the poster that debridges his Magma atty's: Are you able to remove the bridge without breaking any part of the cup?

When I took apart one of mine, I didn't break off any pieces...but it was not nearly as simple as Mary's experience...took a lot of wiggling and stuff to get the metal frame out after I had taken the mesh off....
