Well just posted bout my green led magma batt going out and so was using other and now the atomizer did that nasty taste thing again and the other atty i had that i cleaned it kinda fixed it but it never fully makes carts taste like they do off a new 1 so now my brand new atty i had not even for week already went out :/ would like it if volcano could replace those cause i know they eventualy wear down anyway but after a week on this 1 and just 2 weeks on my other after getting?

Its kinda costing me more to keep replacing stuff than if i was still smoking reg cigs still. Cuz that atmozier i had was brand new and aint used other since it did same thing and last time i tried it just didnt taste right so now im down and out of luck on vaping till i can get another atomizer it looks like but really strongly feel i shouldnt have to pay since i barely had a week if that. Didnt complain to much on first 1 cuz thought maybe was just bad luck but 2/2 on it so far..alright well done venting for now just frustrated cuz now i cant vape for idk how long now.

These are both Magma atty's? Are they getting dry before they go out on you?

Couple of things to try.. if they still get warm when you use them, try a good cleaning (many posts here how to do it.. and I think you have done it before if I'm not mistaken). In general you should get in the habit of cleaning a Magma atty once a week or once every other week. Was the taste you described somewhat metallic? If so it is most definitely the atty getting dry. You may have much better luck with cartos. If you have not tried them yet you should. You can get a 5 pack of them for not much more than a single atomizer costs. They are disposable and reusable.. so if they last a couple weeks its no big deal. I've busted through a 5 pack so far and none of them have quit in the last 2 weeks.

Just curious.. are you dripping or using carts? I've seen Magma attys get a burned taste from getting dry but never seen them burn out like that unless you continue to use them dry, and even then I managed to make one taste like crap but never had it quit all together. With a new atty I generally don't clean it for about a week and a half, but after that I clean them weekly and rotate them out with others.

In any event.. if you get stuck and cleaning doesn't work.. and you can't afford new ones PM me and I'll send you an atty or a carto to keep you going. Hate to see anyone go back to analogs! I'd love to help you figure out what is causing them to fail if we can. Mamga attys should last months not weeks.

My first thought would also be that somehow you're running those attys dry...are you dripping or using carts? If you're using carts, are you using the stock carts with polyfil? Are you giving them thermometer flicks? Are you getting a lot of vapor? What kind of juice are you using if not a stock cart?

Im using reg magma carts no mods or anything, but if u remember i posted this before but heres the kicker and it happened again on old atomizer. I took a drag right and when i quit sucking the led on battery showed i still was apparently cuz the thing started getting hot hot so i had to quickly unscrew atty from batt and it was pretty damn hot, now this is the same thing that happened to me before on my other atty but didnt think nothing of it at the time, so soon as it happened i expected the taste to be bad and sure enough, i took a hit and was a bad nasty smell, wasnt actualy the metal taste like before but same 1 as old atty that turned into metal smell. But ya i dont use no dripping or nothing like that, just reg magma carts.

If the battery is misfiring, you can try pulling on it without an atomizer attached and see if that will reset it...if it's acting like that, I'd call about the battery..it may be the problem...

ya i actualy did that with out the atty to see if it still lit up that way without atty just to see and it did but for some reason PCC just wont charge it but it will charge the purple 1 but ya i already sent email with problem.

Sounds like one of the new sensors again. Wonder if the failure rate on those is as high as it looks. We're seeing problems with those weekly it seems, although it has been less lately. If you do any orders, I'd for sure order a manual to see if that helps your issues. Some have said the breakin period for the new tech batteries is a pain, and usually they need to be activated over and over again without an atty attached (draw on it on the threaded end) to get them to activate correctly. Some have said the mega batteries are the 'old' tech which might be a better option for you if you like the autos. They have an issue if you're around loud thumping music a lot, but otherwise I had no issues with the old tech.. they activate much easier and were actually hard to get to stay on long enough to do any damage. But yea it seems like the battery misfired and burned the atty. You'll have to clear it with CS but if you send the atty with the battery maybe they'll replace both.

hmm ok got question for u spliner then, would they exchange both my auto batts for manuals? they cost the same if i remember but thats twice now they done that so u think they would? and the atomizer? i would say both but if they will at least replace the 1 i be happy but would prefer both cuz i tried using other attty and taste is still off with my first one :/ i

No. Exchanges are made for the exact same item - only exception being, sometimes, the LED color (usually if the original is out of stock).
