Still can't log on 9/19/11

It would be Internet Explore, FireFox, Chrome, Safari, Opera, .....and so on. Those are the most common.

internet explorer. worked just fine accessing the store with my old e reader.

ok. there should be a gear button in the upper right of the page, it is the settings button. Click it, a drop down box will appear, select Internet Options. A window should pop up, there will be a list of tabs across the top. Select the one that says general. Go down to the Browsing History section, click the delete button. Select all the check boxes in the next window. Click delete at the bottom of that page.

And there you go. Cache is cleared.

oh, thanks, didn't realize that was clearing the cache, as I didn't actually see the word "cache". I've already done that several times, still can't log on. When I tried to add an item to the shopping cart, hoping that would allow me to log on after it was selected, it did the same thing as the log in screen, change like it was working and pop right back where it was like I never did anything. Talk about unneutered bovine fecal matter!

Not sure if you tried or check or even know about it, but do you have the Compatibility feature of IE turned on? could be a conflict issue with your version of IE. It should be an icon in the address bar that looks like a torn piece of paper. Go to the site and then click the icon, then try to log in. See if that works.

I am running out of ideas here.

Ever think of trying out a different web browser? I personally hate IE, it has tons of issues, and is slow. I personally like Chrome as a browser. Not saying you should change browsers or even have to, just saying I hate IE.

Swedish Freakin Game Hens! Firefox got me in! Woo freakin Hoooooooooooo! Wish google chrome would have worked, cuz that WAS fast as hell, but I'm just glad I can buy stuff soon! Thanks again AB, you da man, yo!

glad I could help. I am still at a loss why you couldn't get in with IE, Chrome didn't work either? that's really weird. But I am glad to hear that FF let you in. I am sorry for all the trouble. If I figure something else out I will let you know.

Thanks ArtistBoy, I try another explorer, it allowed me to log on as well. I had to use firefox too, I think its a gliche between windows 7 and the site that prevented IE and GC from being able to log on.
