Store Going Down?
by euphorivape » Wed Oct 19, 2011 4:06 am
The store has gone down about 3 times on me in the past 4 days , two times for a noticeable amount of time and the third time just for 5 - 10 minutes. Is it just me , regular maintenance , or gremlins?

Yesterday, I was getting a number of "too many connections" errors with Firefox. I just reloaded the page and everything was fine.

yesterday we had a glitch and that was taken care of. I have not seen any issues today, when you say it has gone down, what exactly happens? 404 error, redirecting, just failing to load, unable to connect to server,.....?
More detail would help us track down any issue that there might be.

I got it too. I don't have the details any more but the general message was a SQL too many connections error. I tried to submit it to the contact form however the Captcha always failed, after the second try I gave up.
Placed an order today, no problems.

yeah yesterday we had an SQL issue, ended up just shutting down mysql and resetting it and all was fine after that. If people are still having issues today with the site please let me know, I need details so I can track down the problem and either fix it myself or if it is beyond my reach have the IT guy fix it.
Problem is just saying the site is not working doesn't always help cause sometimes it will work fine for us but not for others. Please if you have a problem, report it right away and try to be as detailed as possible. Any error the site gives you, screen shots, what browser you are using, what page you were on when it happened, what you were doing when it happened... things like that will help us track down the issue faster and get it resolved.
Thank you.

Fellow web monkey feels your pain. Nothing is worse than hearing "the internet is down!" only to find that what the user actually means is "I forgot my email password". Details are awesome. Troubleshooting intermittent problems is the pits.

I've been having an issue today. I pulled up the store, home page worked fine. I tried opening the "Magma Accessories" option (looking to see if clearo's are back in stock), and it redirects me to the home page. I've cleared my cache, all that song and dance, but I'm still having the same problem. It may just be me.

Matter of fact, it seems the only link that works in the top bar is the one to go to the forum, and possibly the Video Chat one. But the starter kits button, accessories, all of those, I can't get to load. They just basically refresh the home page. I can pull up individual items from the "new" scrolling bar (swirl patten drip tips, that sort of thing), but I can't access anything else.

Looking into it for ya.
Yes the clearos are back in stock. You can use the search box and search for clearomizers. It will list off the clearos and you can select the ones you want. It is just the main menu bar.
