Tank tube leaking through the bottom of the cartomizer

Because I didn't want to hijack the other person's thread, I decided I should probably make my own at this point.
Here's what I posted last night:
This morning I tried a few different things. First I tried to rule out user error by taking lighter/shorter drags. That didn't help. Then I completely stripped it down and cleaned it in the manner recommended in this forum. That didn't help. I'm really puzzled here trying to figure out why exactly it's leaking. I received on Tuesday, so it's almost brand new. The odd thing though is that the amount of leaking doesn't even seem to be consistent. Last night, I set the tube tank completely upright after vaping it, and a fairly large puddle of juice accumulated under it. I then waited a bit and tried the same experiment again, and it didn't leak at all. all day today I've found that it leaks a bit on the battery and then stops, but as soon as I clean off the head off the battery, it will leak again, Only to stop after a certain amount leaks out. It's quite the queer event. Since I got it, I haven't dropped, thrown, or otherwise manhandled it in anyway, so I'm not sure how it could have gotten damaged. At current, because it will only leak so much onto the battery before stopping. It's still useable, but I'm still afraid it's going to fry my batteries.
Here's what I posted last night:
My tank is also leaking right now. Five minutes after I got it in the mail, the rubber O-ring on the top popped off, and somehow that seems to have caused massive leaking when it's off. As soon as I put it back into place though it was fine, and I haven't had any problems up to this point. Now it's leaking out of the bottom of the atomizer onto the battery, which is obviously not a good thing. Granted, the tank is almost empty at the moment. I'll try refilling it to see if it helps. I'm running it on a inferno kit, and the juice I'm using is volcano's pure nicotine with a few (1 to 3) drops of American e-liquid stores menthol-mint to balance it out into a nice menthol. I've been doing this for a few days now and haven't had any leaking problems until this point. No doubt it's a great product, and hopefully I can figure out the cause of this spontaneous leaking problem. I should also note that it seems like the carto somehow got flooded. I haven't filled up the tank since this morning, so there's no way I could have accidentally dripped too much juice into the carto itself, as I've been vaping it all day, and any excess juice would have been vaped by now.
edit to add: Refilling it fixed my problem almost instantly. I'm not sure if it relates to the OP in particular, but it worked for me. I'm not a physics major, but I'd reckon it's due to the vacuum created by the tank. Perhaps when the level of air in the tank is gets too great, it begins to force juice out, which would explain why my carto got flooded and why it leaked out of the bottom. Now I'm not going to lie, I had a few shots tonight, so this is drunk science and is probably completely wrong, but either way, it kind of sucks that the carto will leak when I'm low on juice. it's still a good product overall, I'll just have to remember to keep it topped off.
Edit again: well I was wrong. The tanks only a quarter of the way down and seems to have left a sizable amount of juice on the battery. This is quite the pickle.

I found a crack in my o-ring and that was the cause of my issue. (same as yours) leaking thru cart and gurgling sounds. It was also emptying the tank over by over wicking. After several hardware stores did find a o-ring that worked. Everything was fine.

by chance you have the o-ring size you found that worked? I have been looking but have been unsuccessful around here.
I know other places sell the o-ring packs but I hate to pay more in shipping than the item. I am still pushing for us to carry replacements.

i'm noticing the top o-ring getting notched too from the cart.
Does anyone know if they will be offering replacement o-rings like they do
for the inferno?

Here's where I am right now. Since my first couple of posts, I've learned that the atomiser could have burned a hole through the center tube, which would obviously cause leakage. Since then I've kind of put it on the back burner, but just last week got around to ordering a five pack of cartos. Sure enoughthe first one I tried didn't leak. The new problem now though isn't the tank tube, it's the cartos. Unlike the carto that came with the tank tube, which worked amazing out of the box, the two I've tried so far are not working as expected. First off, both had strands of poly fill sticking out of the outer tube. It's hard to explain what I mean. Imagine the outer cylinder of the carto, and then imagine the "guard" above the threads that locks into the tank tube. Where those two meet, strands of poly fill were just sprouting out. I thought it was dust at first until couldn't wipe it off. Now that struck me as odd, but I didn't find it to be a big deal. I filled up the tank with some of my older VG juice from American E-liquid store (I've since been buying PG as I find VG gives me a nasty cough), and primed the carto with a good amount of the same juice, but when I tried to take a puff, I got a very weak hit and it was very nasty tasting. I assumed that it was just the oils on the atomiser burning off, but even after quite a few tokes, I was still getting dry, nasty hits. Even with as much juice as I put into the carto, It's like the atomiser ran through it in a couple of hits and refused to wick any juice from the tank itself. I dumped the tank, and opened another carto, and this time filled it up with a straight PG juice, and primed the carto again (and when I say prime, I mean 30 drops). I'm still getting the same result. I'm letting the tank sit right now in the hopes that it will start feeding the carto. Last time I checked it though, it doesn't seem to be. It would suck to get two defects in a row, but I also don't want to jump to that conclusion before ruling out user error first. I don't really know what I could be doing wrong here though. I'm not exactly new to cartos. They're actually my prefered method of vaping and I generally don't have problems breaking them in. I plan on buying a couple of volcano's juices in a week or two and trying them with a third carto. God willing, the third time will be the charm. In the meantime I'll keep working with the one I have in the tank right now to see if I can't get it running correctly.
