B/c we never get a smoking hotel room (hubby quit 3+ years ago) so I always have to get dressed, go outside, carry a can for an ashray...then stand there and shiver and look stupid. Now I don't have to do any of that!
I'm right there with ya, Mary. Looked out the window right before leaving for work this morning to see a dusting of snow on the ground. My first thought was "thank god I'm not a smoker anymore!"

I have found an actual drawback......
It's subjective whether it's actually bad, but I cannot handle spicy food the way I used to, lol! I've had to pull wayyyyy back on the way I spice things. I can taste so much more of everything it's overwhelming! Also, and this is just horrible for me to admit, but I've also had to "level down" in my favorite coffees!
The dark dark roasts I love, about knock me over now! The horror!

The best side effect I've had so far is people looking at me and asking...... IS THAT WEED? Or its always funny when people ask, Is that a crack pipe? LOL! Really, who just sits at a bar in front of everyone and has a flame-less crack pipe with a button or an end that lights up?
Volcano was my first ecig purchase last year. WOW, its been a year without a real cig. Thank you Volcano for starting it all.

For me, it's been just the opposite - I've actually started grinding my own beans again (and am even considering getting back into roasting my own!) because I can finally taste coffee like I should again - I even got a bag of decaf beans (roasted by Starbuck's, so they still taste great - pre-packaged decaf is evil!) for the evening cuppa I've so missed.

more then 3 weeks since i last had an analog and have noticed a few things.
1) this was immediate-my mom no longer has coughing fits from the smell and cigarett smoke(other things still trigger it in her but this has helped cut it wayyyyyyyyy down) my #1 goal.
2) i have noticed that i have gotten a stronger sense of smell. i have candles in my room(one of the tricks to abate the smell of smoke to make it less noticeable) just one day was walking towards the stairs and stopped dead in my tracks because i could smell something "perfumey". took me 2 more days to realize i could now smell my candles, even with the lids on(jar candles).
3) my cat who's super affectionate and has to be by people or he's unhappy. would always jump off my lap and the couch when i'd light up(he too hated the smell of smoke) will now not leave me alone for more then 10-20 minuets, but only to eat and do his business. i have blown vap as close to him as possible he just blinks and it's back to sleep on my lap.
4)my fingers no longer have that ugly, embarrasing yellowing on them.
5) i am a big strong coffee drinker(my coffee has its own octane rating) have noticed the taste on my tounge and in my mouth is really flooded with the taste of my coffee i am enjoying my kicka$$ coffee more then i ever have.
6)i have noticed more color in my face as of late which only got this way when i stopped drinking. now that i have both under control the little tiny bumps that pot marked my face for years are finally disappearing for good.
7) i'm gonna be saving both time and money in the long run. use to take me 2 and a half-3 minutes to roll my cig(longer when i had a few in me because i would always screw up once or twice LOL) now in about a minute i can fill a cart(same amount of time when i've had a few) and slap it on my passthrough.
8) biggest advantage of all is i've screwed both Obama and Doyle(former Gov of Wi who was one of the first to raise the tax on cigs) on the high tobacco tax

Oh, one other horrible side effect -
No longer enjoying the wonderful taste of a melting cigarette filter when you're drunk and put the cigarette in your mouth backwards and light it up.
Come on now, admit it, everyone did that at least once....
