Ah, and this is where it starts!
Done a lot of experimenting with VG in the past, and yes it can mute the flavor a bit or enhance it depending on the flavor. Fruity or sweet flavors tend to be a little bit better with more VG as I've seen.
Just remember, the more VG you put in, the less of a Thoat Hit (TH) you'll get. One because of the properties of the VG and two, because you are diluting the nic. You can counter that a bit by adding PGA or pure grain alcohol (Bacardi 151 works well to and adds a bit of flavor, but I recommend not going over 5-8% to start with).
As you're finding out, vaping, much more than analogs, can be very customizable. This is just the begining of the fun!

I've been experimenting with 50/50 mixes with my cinnamon menthol. Excellent! And no reduction in flavor!

Where does one buy pure grain alcohol? Liqueur store? Pharmacy? There has been a few flavors that I wanted to boost TH in.

PGA (commonly sold as Everclear) is usual found wherever hard liquor is sold. But, its not available in all states. I think it is available in NY. Otherwise, Vodka of 150 Proof or higher will work. Some people have used 151 rum as well.

Great! Thank you sir! Might have to pick up a bottle before the liquor stores close. My order is running later than usual (probably because of the bad weather over the weekend) so I would like to add a little kick to my pineapple punch in the meantime (good flavor but, no throat hit at least at 8mg).

Jumping in here on a relatively old thread but, if anyone is still watching...
so if I am understanding this correctly, if I were to add some glycerin to a juice (cherry lava in this case) that I found to be a bit too strong for me, it would possibly mute the taste and TH a bit? I generallly like the overall flavor, I just find it very strong, and stumbled across this thread and had a lightbulb moment..

That is correct... if you dilute a liquid it is going to reduce flavor and strength (which can have a direct correlation to TH)...
So adding VG, which mutes flavors, is a good way to "smooth" out a liquid... BUT... start with a drop at a time... and realize that adding undiluted VG can make the liquids less suitable for use in devices which require "wicking", like tankos and CE2 cartos, since VG is a LOT thicker substance than PG.
Most DIYers will pre-dilute their VG with either distilled water or PGA (80/20)... if you feel the need to greatly dilute (either because a flavor is too strong or the nic level is too high) a juice you might consider obtaining some plain PG and use a blend of PG/VG.
