Tube Tank Question

Postby CountCaffeine » Wed Feb 08, 2012 12:56 am

I went through the boards and did not find an answer so forgive me if there is one there already. Just direct me to the link if you have it.

I have been vaping with the Inferno and the tankomizers and I just ordered the Tube Tank today. Before it gets here I want to know a couple of things. To get the most bang for my buck out of the cartomizer should I regularly clean it? I understand they last about a month, give or take. So I bought 5 extra and I am hoping they last me a while. Would it be better to get a couple of the tube tanks if I have a habit of switching up the flavors from day to day?

Thank you for your time and I am really looking forward to the new Tube Tank.

I have yet to find a good way to clean this type of carto. I just replace it when needed. If you are going to switch flavors, you might want to get an extra one. Make sure you use the official Volcano info for priming it. There is a bad video on youtube that gives incorrect info on priming and the guy has disabled comments on it. the carto itself will need 30-40 drops to prime.

Thank you for the reply. I figured I would just replace them, they are very well priced and if they last around a month then I have no problems replacing them. I am new to this so I am still exploring all the different flavors trying to find my favorites. My idea is to get a few tanks with my personal favs and just let them steep then I can just switch around with them.

I, too, just ordered the Tube Tank, as a co-worker turned me on to it. However, he is stating that the TT cart is lasting him 4-5 days per. He's vaping Choconilla Haze through an Inferno in a 4 ml TT. Is there a reason for this short cart time, or are his replacements premature?

dark juices can cause the carto core to clog up more quickly. I change the carto out every week myself.

So Tobacco Pure should have no issue? I'm just looking to the future so I don't end up with a charging battery and no carts to vape with while the new ones are on the way.

tobacco might cause it to clog up a little more quickly than a clear juice would.

you should always have backups on hand so you're not waiting on them in a new order.

I use clearer liquids, refill once per day and replace each week. It could probably last a few days longer but it starts to get harder to take a drag from as it starts to get glogged up. After a few weeks you will know what works best for you.

I have always changed out my cartos every Sunday...needed or not on my most used PV's....(mind you, I have and run ALOT of PV's at once! ) others that I just Toot on several times throughout the day go longer between changeouts. I have one setup with Hawaiian Espresso and another with Tobacco Pure, that are still going strong after about 5-6 weeks....Nice!!!

Nothing like a fresh Toot off a fresh carto though!!!! 8-)
