using sample packs?
by shaker » Sat Apr 24, 2010 2:56 pm
I just got an order from Vape4life and they sent me four samples. They look like little cartridges with a mouthpiece at one end and threaded insert (female) on the other..I have a Magma and the threaded samples don't fit anything I've got!...How the heck are we supposed to use them? I've never tried flavored juice and the thought of 'peach' or 'red hot' doesn't really appeal to me...but I would like to know how they work....for the future...thanks.....Bob

You will need to get an 501 to KR808 adapter to use them. You can find them fairly cheap at a few places.
they are only 3.95 here:

I haven't ordered from them before, so I don't know what shipping costs. They also carry Rath juices, which are yummy.

Since I'm having trouble visualizing what they look like, can you access the filler in these? If you can, you could use a syringe (available at any drug store) and "suck" the liquid out and use it to fill an empty cart that you have...Don't know if that helps, but that's what I'd try to do if it is accessible.

they are KR808 cartimizers, which means its and atty and cart all in one. you will need an adapter to be able to use it with a L88b or a 510. you can find them a lot of places. once they are empty they can be refilled as well. But since they can't be taken apart it is a bit hard to clean out the old flavor. So either add the same flavor or something that would mix well with the original flavor. If you don't want them or it seems like to much of a hassle you can try putting them up in the trade winds and I am sure someone would be willing to trade something for them.

Thanks for all you help and advise! I probably won't buy an adapter..not that important to me that I try them. As of yet I don't really understand the 'flavor' thing! I got the Magma to cut back on smoking..it helps a little but I find myself going back to analogs more and more..I really want this to work but maybe just haven't found that special flavor yet, ( I'm a menthol smoker, and I don like some that I've tried)..I'm thinking that 'inhaling' food is something that goes beyond smoking! LOL
All of you have been so helpful and I appreciate it...but I think I am in love with Jazzie's avatar!!
By the way, I just got my manual batteries...they rock!!!!!

shaker, I was a menthol smoker for 19yrs, and I dont use any menthol juice other than when i am mixing it with something else (any fruit and menthol is great!). Menthol juice is just way too minty. Actually I have gotten away from it almost completely. Experiment with different flavors, there will be some that you like and some you dont. Even is keeps you off 50% of your normal cigarette intake, isnt that a good thing? For your health and the wallet.
