Tolerances in the mfg of the o-ring groove may contribute as well as I-ring tolerance. If after a couple uses it doesn't work better, go to your local hardware store and get a new o-ring. They are cheap, pennies, and good to have a few on hand.

This is why I don't like USPS. I've ordered things (not from this site, but none the less), and on occasion I won't get a single update until it's at my doorstep. USPS is really slow with their updates.
UPS is my delivery service of choice. It's a little more experience, but I feel that they offer a higher quality of service. However I did order my first Volcano order (haven't gotten it yet, tomorrow I think) with FedEx because the Volcano site offer of $7 and some odd change for two day shipping is too good to pass up lol.

Then I heard on the news that the annual average snowfall is in the neighborhood of only 5" a year!
I wish it were like that in my neck of the woods!
Oh man, their freak outs are nothing. You should see what happens when it snows where I live; Redding CA. Biggest city north of Sac. Forget inches, we get any sort of accumulation, even like a quarter of an inch and the entire city shuts down. We get snow maybe twice a year if that and it doesn't usually stick. No one has snow tires or chains. Everyone has flat roofs. We don't have snow plows at all. We aren't insulated for it. The city utilities aren't either. The last time we got significant snow (a couple inches) almost every business in the city shut down. Everyone's pipes were frozen. We even had a black out. We also had to rent snow plows from the nearest mountain town lol.
You have to understand, snow has a big impact in cities that aren't set up for it.

The snow thing is just...odd to me. haha.
In my area, we get five inches and it's a snow warning.
As per the user who mentioned using the Fedex 2day, it really can't be beat. It's an amazing service and is usually very good.
