What is dripping?

What is dripping? Do I still need an atomizer? Is it easier than using carts?

Dripping is dripping the liquid straight from the bottle of e-liquid onto your atty. To drip properly, you will need a drip tip, atty, and batt. It's less convenient than using carts when on the go, but the flavor is much tastier and you get much more consistancy, since every time you notice a drop in flavor or vapor, you just drip a couple more drops into your drip tip.

You should really shouldn't drip more then 3 drops at a time either. It's convenient to have a drip tip just in case something happens to a tank, carto, or clearo. My tank broke about a week ago and have been dripping because I can't afford to buy another tanko.

Like mulkey said, you will need :

• Battery (volcano/magma/inferno)
• Atomizer (any atomizer will work)
• Drip Tip (depending on which atomizer you have will determine the drip tip you need)
If you have a Volcano atty, Lava, or Cisco then you will need one of the larger drip tips that say "volcano and lava drip tip.
If you have any of the other atomizers, then a regular aluminum drip tip or the stainless steel is what you would need.

If you're unsure about how it all goes together, here's a picture of the arrangement :

So after you have it all together, it's just up to how many drops you want to put in. The average is 3, some use two, others use 6+ (hippie here on the forums). I personally use 4 drops. That normally doesn't flood the atty but 3 drops definitely works fine. The process is as simple as adding the drops and vaping til you get a change in flavor (will start to taste burnt). Another few puffs past that and there will be hardly any vapor and a terrible burnt taste.

Hope this clears it up for you and I hope you decide to try it out! It's definitely the most reliable and true way of vaping, IMO. :D

You can always use the blank outer cart that came with your atty as a temporary way to see if you like dripping (if you have a magma)...take it off, drip a few drops (I stick with 2), put outer cart on...vape, take it off, drip, vape, drip...with the drip tip you eliminate the need to take the mouthpiece off and on as you can drip through it...

Since everyone has answered your question to what it is I wanted to point this out:

Dripping is by far the best vaping experience you can have IMO. It will give you the best flavor and vape cloud if done correctly. It is by far the most preferred way to vape by many here. :D

It isn't so much to never use the autos it is just try not to flood, if it starts coming out the air holes remove the atty and let the excess drain. The issue with the autos getting juice in them is harder now to accomplish now that volcano has revamped these batteries. Didn't say impossible but it is harder.

My usual preach: NEVER use an LR atty on a Magma or Volcano battery (it will kill them :o !), only use them on an Inferno.
Otherwise welcome to dripping!
